I think Jaime would have to be dead, unless Arya wargs into him.
But I don't think Jaime dies. In the season 6 trailer, he's leading the Lannister army through (presumably) the Riverlands, and he's wearing Lannister colors/armor. He's acting as the commander of the Lannister army, not the Kingsguard. What would have relieved him of that duty? Resignation due to the death of Tommen or Cersei? Some other event? He's at the head of the Tyrell army against the Faith Militant in another clip in the trailer, and given the events that are unfolding now, that showdown will happen soon. So, chronologically, Jaime leads the Tyrells while acting as Kingsguard, leaves (for some reason), and leads the Lannister army as a representative of his own House. Something goes down that causes this transition. The show may be picking up some of the book storyline here, but likely it's precipitated by something else entirely (much like the total scramble of the Northern storyline, albeit having a similar arc). It would have to be big for him to leave Tommen and Cersei behind, unless of course, they're no longer there to protect...
I agree completely, he made the right choice. Worst case scenario he has some lingering arm pain (barring some freak accident of course).
8-12 year career throwing baseballs every 5th day or get your brains scrammbled and forget how to tie your shoes after 4 years?
He was smart.
I can't decide if Jamie or Cersei will die first. The witch said Cersei's younger brother will kill her but that could be Jamie or Tyrion. A lot of people think Arya- er no one, will kill Cersei wearing Jamie's face... but does Jamie have to be dead for her to take his face?
This. I think Jamie and Tyrion are the only Lannisters standing at the end.
wasn't terracing the hill a fairly recent addition?
He's big but he's not 24 sq. ft. big.
The witch told Cersei that she would see all of her children in a golden shroud, or something to that effect.
I see The Mountain will die, but I really really hope it will be at a trial by combat with The Hound (who, like Jaime, is a character with a lot going on beyond your initial impressions of them)
I don't think Jaime dies, let alone this season.
I walked straight into your trap...
It won't happen until Virginia Tech's peer institutions do it and West Virginia is not one of them. I think he mentioned it just to acknowledge that it can be successful.
Aha! I knew you secretly preferred pie!
This is not a small minority of people who think this. And it's ridiculous to discount it as an absolutely brilliant superhero movie. You would be going against almost every acclaimed movie critic and the majority of fans. You are more than entitled to your opinion though.
distance from locker room to field
You mean professional baseball players don't drive from the locker room to the field too?
English field itself got an upgrade to a turf field but that wasn't that recent nor does it have anything to do with the stadium project. Cassell coliseum gets minor changes to fill the most immediate needs. Its not like they are doing the same work over and over. Recruiting also improved after the basketball practice facility was completed but the coaching changes were a significant downgrade. I'm not sure why you are so down on these facility changes.
Spiderman 2, which many people still regard as the best true superhero movie
Spiderman 2 is the best super hero movie in the same universe where cake is superior to pie.
Enjoyed the article, thanks.
Really hoping that it doesn't turn out like Prince of Persia, where the groundwork for an excellent movie is all there (solid story, vivid imagery and style) but the entire tone of the game is lost because the filmmakers attempt to appeal to as many demographics a possible. The assassin in the movie isn't depicted in any of the games so I don't see the point of taking the general idea of a game that is well-known for its story and then creating characters to free up artistic freedom. Also hoping that the female assassin adds value to the film as opposed to being a one-dimensional character for the sake of PR. That seems to be a trend for game adaptations as of late, and as someone who has played most of the Assassins Creed games I'm not sure that it will make sense in the story given the time period. The Assassin's Creed games portray themselves as realistic for the time-period and public outcry has changed a lot of their artistic vision, I hope that the movie doesn't take the same route.
Also, what happened to Elmwood?
Dutch Elm Disease
I might cry if Jaime dies.
I do agree that attempting to balance that on two 1/8'' blades is a recipe for disaster for the well-being of said individual's ankles... The ice wouldn't crack, it's be plenty thick (1"+) to support and there's concrete below. So no, he's not falling into a pond here... And he only has to glide from the net to the bench and vice versa. Support from his 2 defensemen on either side should get the job done. When no action, he can just use the goal as support as needed.
Either way. It's solid material for a good chuckle! :D

That scene in Spiderman 3 where he's strutting down the street makes me angry just thinking about it....
I figure they need to keep Falcon around since he takes over as Captain America at some point
I always found Maguire to be a bit of a douche actually. I thought Garfield was MUCH better. I liked this one as well, especially since he really shows the youth of Peter Parker. The issue I had while watching this awesome movie was that since this version of Spiderman only has had his powers for a couple months I don't think he would've fared as well as he did in the movie against these seasoned fighters.

There are only two things I hate
