I have to believe that Bronco is a more competent coach than Mike London.
It'd require a lot of drugs to believe otherwise...
Well $1m is significant for smaller teams like Bournemouth, Watford, and Liverpool. For big clubs like United, pocket change.
;)
Can we just make the Beamer Barn name official already? Also, what happened to Elmwood?
Regarding #2, I am really surprised they offed Osha so quickly after her return. GRRM is on record saying that he was really impressed with what the showrunners had done with her character, and it was causing him to write some more interesting things for her in the books...and then she's dead instantly.
I understand that they don't both need to follow the same story, but I would have liked to see her do a bit more.
Don't think Cersei or Tommen go this season. Why do you think Tommen dies? Jorah, Sparrow, and Ramsay I can all see. Especially with the build up to Bastard Bowl.
I admit i do chuckle every time i see Big Ass Fan show up on a mechanical schedule or mechanical spec

that's why they're having to put in bigger seats, right?
I've got Rickon, Jorah, Tormund (or Davos, one of the two), Walder Frey, The Mountain and .....the big one....Jaime.

It is an absolute Embarrassment, better fit for a low tier Division 2 school or middling Texas high school than an ACC member. We recently upgraded some of the team practice facilities, and basically they have the back half of Rector. But in particular the lack of a video scoreboard, distance from locker room to field, lack of more modern Club Seating, and vending in general are major areas we are behind our peer schools that we have said we want to compete with.
The Naming Rights that were sold recently to Union Bank might be what you remember and that will be a major part of the funding the upgrades.
Think it's all up in the air. I look at it this way - playing at home isn't necessarily all that it's cracked up to be. If you're going to play at home, the situation should be completely right. Lakers are rebuilding for a bit. Example: Cory Joseph came home to Toronto because he already has a ring with the Spurs and got a good 4-year deal with a playoff contending team.
If he wants to win and get paid, he should stay in Toronto. He will definitely get offered the max with all the TV money coming in.
What main characters are going to hit the chopping block in a big way in the next 6 episodes? I think the most likely are:
- Jorah
- Tommen
- Ramsay
- Sparrow
Is it time for Cersei to get whacked? I can't decide if they'll do it this season or next, but it has to be coming.
Yeah, I think the Raptors can take the Cavs to 6 games at best. Can't honestly say that about the Heat can take them that far right now. Regardless of what happens, this season has been a massive success for Toronto and DeRozan and Lowry are starting to learn how to play well in the playoffs. That's huge for the future if DeRozan stays.
Honest question: Is the consensus among Raptor fans that DeRozan is off to LA after the year or will he give Toronto a legit chance at swaying him back to the 6IX?
If he wants to win, he should stay in Toronto. Valuncianas is about to break out, Lowry is in his prime, and Carroll should be fully healthy next year. Add in a possible free agent and the Raptors are still contenders. Obviously if you guys somehow win it all this year, he has no choice but to stay.
Question 1: How do you get all of that on two small blades though?
Question 2: How do you infuse steel into ice in order to make it strong enough not to crack under all that weight on 2 blades?
I've been emotionally invested for 21 years...finally feels like some sort of a payoff, even though chances of advancing to the Finals are slim. Playing with all sorts of house money now.
With current rosters, definitely Cavs-Raptors should be better to watch than Cavs-Heat. You never know, maybe Raptors will pull out a 08-09 Orlando Magic-esque performance...hot shooting with a dominant big man (if JV gets healthy in time). I'll keep dreaming and if I'm wrong it's no big deal.
Imagine being a fan of either team and forcing yourself to be emotionally invested for 7 games. Disappointed the Heat lost obviously, but with how injured we were becoming, I'm kind of relieved that I don't have to watch them get run off the floor by Cleveland in 4 or 5 games.
If Bosh, Whiteside, and Deng (his hand was clearly bothering him) were all healthy than the Heat could have likely given Cleveland a scare, but unfortunately they weren't and it caught up to them.
Don't get your hopes up. That would entail a lot of cost outlay for VT.
Gabbert is an Asshat...what I said hat that's not cussing
The problem with Lowry and DeRozan is that they might be the 2 most inconsistent all-stars in the NBA. Some games, like yesterday, they are incredible. Other games, they hurt the Raptors more than help them. If both of them struggle in one game against the Cavs, they might lose by 30. If both of them play well, they're going to need another player to step up. I say Cavs in 5.
although West Virginia's been very successful, in fact they've cut down their arrests and increased their revenue, so instead of sneaking in beer, you buy it. But I think we'll stay just in the clubs right now
This reads to me as "There's somebody (or a few somebodies) important not quite sold yet on stadium-wide beer sales, but once we clear up that issue?"

This photo prompts the riddle that has been a thorn in my side for quite some time....
Why doesn't he try out to be a hockey goalie? No way a puck gets past this guy.
Actually, you're right about the series not being fun to watch. That was one of the ugliest 7-game series' I have ever seen. The first 5 games all came down to the last minute of regulation, though, which was exciting.
