# | Captain America: Civil War (or Avengers 3: Civil War sans Hulk, Thor and Quicksilver)#ALLTHESPOILERS If you haven't watched Agent Carter (at least the first season, moreso than the second), that does delve into some setup for potential reasons. Especially considering Stark and his technology. Iron Man 2 (might be 3, but I believe it's 2) also goes slightly into how Howard had some revelations in his old age about technology and proper uses.

As you pointed out Howard Stark in the previous movies and Agent Carter series was resourceful and usually capable.
Anyway, as you said its a movie so whatever. just pointing something out.

Its the same excuse every year with arsenal though. If your team is that thin that an injury to ramsay completely derails your season you gotta add depth

Taking lower stars to reel in talented teammates was a Mike London special. Probably would be rated much higher if taller. He did say in another article how all his brothers will play at the same college. That worked out quite nicely when VT recruited Vinny.
There's also an outside chance they finish 7th with a loss in this game needing to win the FA Cup to even make the Europa League....
They have to make this game up.

I saw they delayed start not it's canceled? Won't they reschedule that's a big difference in money, prestige etc from 4th to 5th.
I think they'll play it midweek, which sucks too because United are on short rest for FA Cup while Palace get the whole week.
And now there's no excitement for fourth. City gets it by default because United had to cancel due to suspect package at Old Trafford.
Yes and United and City get NBC and NBCSN. But the team who came from nowhere to win the premiereship and gain thousands of new fans should get a better channel than CNBC. I've read multiple articles from BBC, SUN etc where Leicester viewers in the US has gone up dramatically because of their story.
I think you're too worried about it. The biggest story of the weekend is United and City race for fourth. The championship has been won, relegation decided, nothing left to watch except fourth.

Even real NFL scouts (not the fake guys on the internet) get sucked into the measurables game to try to diminish risk; look at the combine head-scatchers you see each draft. Now expand that to HS with star ratings being generated by people with less expertise, with less access to comprehensive player film (everybody looks good in their highlights), less time to see them in person, virtually no access or ability to judge character, and less time to review every player. Then add in the need to sell subscriptions and tell certain fanbases what they want to hear.
People think the star ratings are determined by some thorough analysis of every player, but there is a pretty big fudge factor once you get past the top 100-ish and measurables play big part in that.

The same Howard Stark that invented the flying car and countless other things that would be used for defense in such a situation. The same Howard Stark that would likely be driving top of the line car as he always has been.
See the previous two Captain America movies and the Agent Carter series for the reasoning here. They both depict many scenes where Hydra's sleeper agents knew everything that S.H.I.E.L.D. was doing with the serum. It's pretty simple to write this one off as "the less people that know, the better," and Howard Stark was certainly one of the only people trustworthy enough to perform the mission.
Beyond that, it's a comic book movie. I find many scenes in Civil War to need a bigger suspension of disbelief than that one. :)
Who decides TV channels for matches? Leicester being on CNBC is a travesty.

The same Howard stark that liked to fly himself everywhere or had a butler, jarvis, drive him everywhere. The same Howard Stark that invented the flying car and countless other things that would be used for defense in such a situation. The same Howard Stark that would likely be driving top of the line car as he always has been.
So it seems highly unlikely that this would be how Howard elects to transport super soldier serum to the Pentagon. Alone, with his wife, with an off the shelf late model car that has zero defensive countermeasures or any type of Stark tech in it.

That was just enough Spiderman. I prefer him in this universe vs. Stand alone films.
Best line in the movie was when Spiderman picked on CA for having a shield that defies physics.
Funny how Captain America is about the least interesting individual super hero and yet his plot lines continue to make the best movies.
I could be wrong here but I am pretty sure Russia doesn't have a Canadian Football League, but that's just a guess.

I think his other specialty was being so indecisive that he only had to decide who was left once enough of his players transferred. Never did find out about those timeouts, though.
