Not since the movie "Horrible Bosses"
It is like you have met my father....
Yeah, meddling in and micromanaging your football program is how you end up like UVA.
Probably?
interesting. I would have thought Sarah Jessica Parker would be your celebrity crush, Horse.
if a player transfers and is sitting out a year, does his scholarship count against the limit?
Jennifer Aniston is far and away my lifetime celebrity crush
We usually do very well against an offense designed to have QB running plays but tended to fail to contain mobile quarterbacks when plays broke down
That has a lot to do with the change in base defense and a lack of discipline by the defensive line. Virginia Tech used to shut down running quarterbacks, look at how Denard Robinson faired.
Maybe everyone thought Buds Defense would bail out the offense all the time. Then came the running quarterback.
I am assuming you mean the money set aside for the scholarship assuming it gets used. No it does not get lost, it doesn't have anywhere to go but back in to the program.
I doubt it
5 YPC isn't a bad stat line for the freshman.
In comparison, Mizzell was 11 for 26 against us. The whole season played out this way (33 - 262 for 8 YPC vs 163 - 671 for 4 YPC).
If nothing else, I think we can agree that UVA is awful.
All ramifications of not being able to find a good player aside, does unused scholarship money go back into the program, or is it lost?
I am a diehard Caps fan/hockey fan (currently play in a beer league) since I was probably 2 years old. I am living in London right now, and every single game in the playoffs this year, I was up until at least 4am watching every Caps game, hoping this was the year. I was actually thinking to myself (of course, the one year I am living in London, we are going to go to the Finals and I am going to not be there for it)... How stupid of me to think that!
Anyways, what is sad is that I am used to the pain now. I wasnt as hurt as I was last year because I am simply now officially used to/fully expect the Caps to bow out of the playoffs early. My pain and sadness has actually shifted toward Ovechkin... I feel bad for this guy. I dont care what anyone says, he is one of the top 5 players to ever play the game and WILL ever play the game hands down. I dont think a lot of Caps fans even realize how special of a talent this guy is... and to see that he goes another year without even MAKING it to the Conference Finals, going another year closer to retirement, hurts. People bash Ovechkin for the Caps playoff woes, he has nothing to do with it. Its an effing team sport. As much as I loathe Crosby, I would never blame him for not making it past the 2nd round and on the flip side, would never credit him for making it to the finals... Like I said, it is a team sport.
Rant over, just wanted to spill my emotions out. Disappointed in the Caps even though I expected it. Sad for Ovechkin. Maybe next year will FINALLY be our year.... Doubt it. Now I get to watch another team underachieve for 5 months: Go Nats!...
awesome. good for him. best of luck Jalen
Bruce is awesome!
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, and as a great player, he deserves it.
A friend of mine from ODU was a member of their model bridge or whatever it's called team (sorry to the CIV/ESM folks, I'm an ME) and they hit the C'ville bridge with the Ryder truck they transported the bridge to competition with.
I'm not sure if that's irony or infinite regression.
well let's face it. Their last "game" against no opponent was their spring festival and I think we can all agree everyone walked away from that a loser.

At this part of the movie script it says:
Dog growls.
Yeah. Why not have a dedicated set of qualified replay guys that handle all ACC games from one location? Doesn't seem too hard. The way espn and other broadcasters dissect replays, this should be a fairly simple fix.
2. Educated - Not all that unique. Shakira is a MENSA member, Natalie Portman went to Yale/Harvard or something like that
I'm pretty sure she went to Brown University, another Ivy League school or something like that

Bruce Smith is really an ideal representative of Virginia Tech athletics. The last time I saw him he went out of his way to talk to some Hokies before one of the games last season.
