Either one means I don't want colleges buying recruits. In fact, I don't like the idea of a money advantage to individual teams in college athletics to begin with, but I guess that horse has left the barn a long time ago.
I'm against anything that gives Michigan even more of an advantage than they already have.
That said, I think the VT administration is looking at this correctly. If you can't disallow it, you might as well participate.

It's good Buzz now has at least one more option for this or next recruiting cycle, however things decide to shake down. Although, if VT doesn't use those scholarships I hope Donlon and Galloway get them. They've worked their nuts off for this program and totally deserve it.
I wouldn't say it was the most used. It was the most used that was uniquely eye catching.

Actually, pretty much all of the Panama Papers stuff was tax avoidance, as would be the other methods you mentioned. Tax avoidance is perfectly legal, and is done well within the letter of the law (even though it blatantly violates the spirit of the law). Tax law is rather convoluted, but it would be much simpler if people would just use the correct words.
But you're right, Emma's accounts were set up in a British protectorate, where taxes would still be paid. The stated reasoning is the degree of privacy afforded account holders in the BVI that is not available in Britain itself. She didn't want screwballs messing with accounts with her name on them, so she park her money where it didn't openly list her name.

Buzz does have two open scholarships currently and Devin's would make a third but it doesnt hurt Buzz to use it one way or another. Worst case, next season, barring changes, you see guys like Matt Galloway or Greg Donlon get a year on scholarship instead of being just a walk on. It still allows Buzz to recruit the scholarship for whichever class he prefers between whats left in the Class of 16/Transfer market, and the Class of 2017.
I believe you're thinking of Macho Harris. I found the article below just now, but I remember reading another one when it first came out that talked about his off-season work. Interesting stuff.

I hope Devin does great things in football this year, but I'm not entirely sure how this helps us in hoops at the moment. With Wilson being a rising senior, his scholly is already available for the current recruiting class of 2017 (the same class Alexander-Walker just committed to). So does this now free up another 2016 scholly instead? Also: don't we have two 2016 scholarship spots that it looks like Buzz is not going to use anyway? (Unless Markell Johnson does reclassify and commits to the good guys). If I'm wrong, correct me but it feels like VT hoops just got another open scholarship for the 2016 signing year that they probably weren't gonna use anyway.

So I currently live in Charlottesville and my apartment is right next to a different train bridge. On my way home from work I saw a truck get stuck under the bridge (first time I've seen this happen in 2 years living here). Turns out it happened on the same day as the one in this post but the one by my apartment never got any news coverage. Nothing really surprises me in this city anymore.
