Two things stand out:

1. Who was dumb enough to build a bridge that low?

2. If you drive a vehicle/trailer that is large and you don't know the height of said vehicle, you shouldn't be driving it.

Only in Charlottesville!

I'd like to think Whit approached Fuente

See, I'd actually be really disappointed if Whit applied any leverage to this at all. It's Fuente's roster and if he does or doesn't think Wilson is good enough to be on it then that should be the end of it.

ok now. Just 'cause we all know this is an emma thread, it doesn't mean my boss walking behind me would understand. Let's try to keep things at least a little SFW.

I'd like to think Whit approached Fuente and told him about how the Basketball team could be really good next season, especially with another open scholarship and that he had just the new athlete to take up one of those 85 spots, a kid who was recruited by D1 schools to play WR and who has a really strong work ethic.

But mostly, about how good basketball could be next season, with an eligible transfer with a paint presence.

thus opening up another basketball scholarship.

This right here is why I never expected him to not get a spot. Even if he was just serviceable, you can easily absorb another bench warming WR on scholarship. Buzz needs as many scholarships as he can to build the team the way he wants. Wilson shifting his to football is much more palatable than having to have another kid transfer. That he could be a contributor is just frosting on the ca...ice cream on the pie.

If Michigan can't even take 1 player from each camp, what sort of exposure are they really getting? Sure, some camps are joint with other schools, but it really isn't upping their chances much at all when schools, like Michigan, are going overboard with it like this.

When you join with another school, it gives lower level kids a chance to be seen by other coaches. Kid might not be good enough to get a scholly to Michigan, but he may catch the eye of the Iowa State coach.

Bottom line is - If I had a kid being recruited in any sport and you told me he/she could attend a camp and potentially network/further open his recruiting and meet a great coach, I would encourage him/her to attend (assuming he/she had some interest in at least one of the schools there).

I get the point though... The kids get a free camp and a little bit of visibility, while Michigan gets A LOT of visibility, and the chance to build recruiting connections in new territories. I think the right move is to allow satellite camps, but limit the number a school can hold/attend, the time of the year in which they can be held/attended and (maybe) the area they can be held/attended.

ok, so apparently we've reached the point in her career where people just irrationally hate her because she's popular

cool, got it. Thanks for pointing that out

I never said she was unique. She's also been in a bunch of other movies that are worth watching.

The real genesis of the TKP <3 Emma thing was that people just started using GIFs of her a lot. There's likely a reason for it, but using Emma GIFS simply became a bit of an in-house meme.

1. Talented - not sure if Emma was "flexing her acting muscle" when she played Hermoine
2. Educated - Not all that unique. Shakira is a MENSA member, Natalie Portman went to Yale/Harvard or something like that
3. yes, she's gorgeous, so lets keep these gif's coming!

There are always going to be crazy coaches who decide to try to go that extra mile, and run themselves ragged, along with their staff and spend huge sums of money for only a possible payoff.

That's fine, it shouldn't ruin a perfectly good idea, you are never going to have parity in college football, to do so removes any agency a fan base has in their interaction with their alma mater and reasons to incentivize fan support.
