I personally love it up there, but not everyone enjoys being in a corner (I prefer it so that no on walks by us on their way in/out and there's no one behind us with just the one row in front).
And it doesn't feel remotely like a big city. Places like Baltimore and Pittsburgh and St. Louis feel much more like a big city even though they probably have similar populations.
So you're confused and pissed off because of your pre-conceived notion of what may or may not happen?

So to answer HokieUmp's origina question, we probably would have had a pretty good crowd even if it was just a practice. The above video was from a Tuesday night and was only open to students, and that was still a crowd of about 2500.
Only thing that will truly shock me is if the time comes anywhere close to fitting the crime.
My guess is the NCAA gives UNC a stern finger shake, and then to prove their toughness gives N.C. State the death penalty for jaywalking and aggravated mopery.
Manziel and Leinhart were both HUGE busts, agreed. But Winston and Mariota both have huge upside, RG3 led his team the playoffs his rookie year, Carson Palmer was at times the best QB in the league this past year, Cam won MVP, Ingram has been a Pro Bowl level RB for 2 years now, Bradford (though far from anything great) is an NFL starter, Tebow had short-term success, Charles Woodson is a future HOFer. I just think the narrative that all Heisman winner are "busts" is far from the truth. Same with any other award.

0% chance. Cardale is going to be an excellent pro but he'll need to take the Aaron Rodgers path and sit for a few years first. Now the Bills have Tyrod, Cardale, and EJ Manuel. I've been waiting for a team to do this. All three are mobile, EJ being the least mobile of the three. Unlike the Redskins with RGIII and Kirk Cousins, if Tyrod goes down, they can run the same offense because all three guys have the ability to move. When RGIII went down, the whole offense had to be remade. Cardale landed in a great spot for him and I think he's closer to Ben Rapelisburger than Jamarcus Russel
For you guys that go to away games, how do you normally obtain tickets? And when do you start looking? I'd like to go to Syracuse while I'm up here.
lower South endzone is nice for touchdown passes in the Southside and getting to and from seats, but it's rather sleepy if there's not a touchdown being scored.

Way to go Wade. From RPI DL to VPI as an OL starter and another notch on your belt with a trip to an NFL camp. IMHO I'd say you've had a good ride and will have some better stories for the grandkids. That's a lot of acronyms. Hope you find another gear and take it to the HOF.
