Poor Bronco.

I think this year is the high water mark for VT Spring games. I know I saw license plates from: VA, MD, NC, SC, GA, FL, OH, PA, NJ, NY, WV, TN in the parking lots. That's a lot of travel for a short game. Would like to see some better parking for next year though, a lot of blocked spots taken up by tailgating.
Your post really symbolizes what I think we all are feeling.
If we hadn't been told that the font was to represent the chiseling of the Hokie Stone would ANYONE have guessed that's what the font represents?
If someone works hard enough, they can rationalize symbolism into just about anything.
One big reason VT had so many stupid combos in recent years is because Frank didn't really care -- the seniors picked the combos and he was always like "whatever". As long as they weren't neon green and pink with horns coming out of the side of the helmet, I don't think Frank spent a whole of time focusing on fashion - specifically uniform design.
Yay! I love these and this one was well done
Do you think the "game" format/experience (at VT) and the surrounding activities were enough to keep those 44,700+ coming back in future years? Or was there enough "meh" with the on-field scripting to turn people away?
about the festival: VT's open practice - on a Tuesday, only open to students - nearly had as many fans in attendance.
Got u fam

So is it fair to ask how the QBs got as many yards as they did, considering all the D had to do was touch them? Effective O-line, less effective D-line, normal/abnormal?
To be fair, the blockers were nowhere to be found. Can't fault him for a fair catch in that situation.
He still needed film to work with, so since it wasn't televised, I don't think he would have helped much here.
gotta love inspiration to start your sunday morning. go james!
I have no problems with the font. I liked the old font and I like the new.
The video said they wanted the font to look like it was chiseled...similar to chiseling Hokie Stone. I think that is cool.
I think he had a big say in what was ordered.
Practice, practice, practice. They need to over the emotion of college ball and the crowds.
Catching a pass is not something new Fuente is teaching them. ..
You have to root for the kid, good story.
Run. Run. Run. Fumble. Run. Incomplete. Fumble. Run. Run. End
Chop block. Chop block. Chop block. Fumble after chop block. Incomplete. Fumble after chop block. Chop block. Chop block. End.
Fixed it
Haha, that is pathetic. I thought they were talking about the game program at first. I was like what the H does that matter

# | Justin Fuente's Offense Sputters in Spring Game, Despite Handful of Bright Spots I can see DJ Reid taking over for Trey Edmunds's old role: the power back of the bunch. He was hard to bring down and just seemed to bounce off of tackles. Didn't really have a chance to showcase whether he had speed or not, but he hit holes very well.
Anyone have an extra leg? I'd like to give this man more
Recognizing that both Click and Jackson were playing against 2's and 3's both still looked good if not better than Motley and Evans.
The people in football uniforms don't count.

Just wait, come regular season the offense will be clicking. The defense will have ultimate drive to destroy the opposing team and Tim Settle will have all eyes on the QB.
Jaylen Bradshaw looked great, hope he can step up as our legit #3.
DJ Reid is a tank but also shifty and smart runner, he and Marshawn can pound it.
Divine had drops, but he looks massive out there and will develop into a legit threat here soon.
