Other than our first glimpse of Michael Vick, a truly transcendental experience for this old Hokie, Spring Games are seldom more than a chance to celebrate being a Hokie and supporting the team. This one seems no different. I wish that the offensive production would have been more prodigious, but given the fact that there is a new scheme, and Bud's defense is, well, Bud's defense, I can't be too surprised. Given the fact that so many players on offense were used, multi QB's in particular, it couldn't have been much more productive in the first year of a whole new offensive approach. Won't wish away my summer, so much to do, but I eagerly look forward to the fall. Lots of intriguing story lines here.

Learn to gif, bruh.

Nah but seriously those Hardee's coupons should do the trick.

FORWARD SLASH SARCASM

I was there, Great Crowd of about 44,000 Hokie Fans. Offense was very limited and used all the QBs and most all of the RBs. I was impressed with a few young players in WR core. And Edmonds and Gaines had a good game. I didn't expect to see a lot because of the number Not playing and the offense being new . Fuente didn't plan on showing his Hand, I agree with that. Come Fall, I think Evans will be the starter and then the full crew will be high lighted. New era, Love the Future... Go Hokies

Why doesn't the font match the VT logo font? Wouldn't that make sense? The font looks awful especially on the basketball uniforms. I don't want to buy anything with that font on it. I wish I had money now to stock up on gear before it's all new stuff.

Other takeaways. 1) Both Edmunds looked very good I thought. 2) Bucky and Moto only played one (maybe two) possessions each. 3) Wilson got a ton of Reps at WR. 4) lots of empty backfield sets 5) Tempo fluctuated a lot 6) Pretty solid Oline I think

damn fireman sorry you had to witness and deal with that. At least the day was nice! and i hope it didnt retract for your experience! on another note i havent heard anything about wilson. did he have any grabs? Love hearing that the wideouts looked good though

Yes that is a good substitute, but what I was going for was to quote the message that is next to the Hokiestone in the tunnel.

It reads as it appears in the video. "For those who have passed, and for those to come. Reach for excellence."

Hell no I didn't keep cool. I didn't have any thing on me saying what dept I worked for. I lit into the guy.

As one who has been kneed, kicked, bumped, spilled and regurgitated upon at games over the years, I can empathize with you. I'm sure you kept your cool, though. Right?

Loved my first spring game except for the POS who yelled at my wife and 10 month old when the baby touched him with her foot.

Three takeaways: 1) I want CJ Carroll on the field in some capacity. Kid has some hands and some damg good moves. 2) Evans gets rid of the ball very quickly on sideline throws, I feel like in the past we've been slower with that. Jack Click was a nice surprise. Guy had some good throws today. 3) Whit Babcock had a pretty balling suit.

I have to say, over the past couple of years I had lost a little bit of the fire that I felt watching my Hokies. I used to get chills with every one of these hype videos. I don't know whether it was complacency on my part or what, but I started noticing it and I hated it. i thought maybe it's because I'm all the way out here in SoCal and have been so far from home for so long. I thought I'd felt that feeling for the last time. With this new infusion of energy that is embodying the program I can't help but feel rejuvenated as well. Now every hype video, every all access video, each one I just get amped up. It's a feeling that I missed, and to quote the great Ricky Bobby.."thank you mama speed I am back!!!" Go Hokies!!!

(Insert Michael Scott waving his hands and giving an urgent no signal)
