So it looks like after the spring game fans will be allowed onto the field. No word on whether players and coaches will be available for pictures yet.

Edit: as of today coaches and players WILL NOT be available to meet. Too many recruits in town.

Well, like Coach Fu told Chuck in the mic'd up, I'm gonna get my a** down on the field, and then we'll party.

I like the back. The front design is just a little too big for me, though. I prefer shirts to either have a large front design, or a small front design with a large back design.

I'm an ME (2015 grad) and I also did a co-op. That's exactly what I called myself. My fourth year of school I said I was a "senior" and my last year a "super senior."

I am biased toward guides, but not just for all of the reasons you mentioned. Guides also have the boats you need to more successfully fish whatever area you are trying to learn. Believe me, while kayaks and canoes can fish big moving water like the New, a guide raft is the way to go for efficient and safe fishing in a notoriously dangerous river. As for the musky, I can confirm that the New River is indeed an excellent fishery for them. Some guides specialize in musky, but most can outfit you for both musky and smallmouth, if you have the patience and stamina to chunk the lures that attract ole toothy.

Back in my day (cracks neck, prepares "get off my lawn" speech), the ChemE's I knew used "senior" and "super senior," as many of them were there for 5 years due to co-ops and the like.

In a VT-centric view this makes perfect sense. I'm sure the Athletic Department wants to tightly control their entire experience, so housing everyone at The Inn is fine. I'm thinking broader, across college football. Not every school has a lovely hotel on campus, so decisions will have to be made about who to put where, e.g. chance for disparity. That's all. And just to be clear, I really don't think this is a huge deal, just sort of poking fun at the prospect.

Solid. I just remembered this. I had an RA my freshman year who was a ChemE and he always said that he was a redshirt Junior. I guess it was his way of skirting the whole "fourth year" controversy. I thought it was pretty clever. Anyway, if you like that, take it back with you and teach the others. Instead of 4th and 5th years we'll have Redshirt Juniors and Seniors.

Haven't tried copolymer line yet. As for cost of line, Bass Pro Excel goes for around 25 bucks for 6,030 yards of 8lb test, and is either comparable or identical to Trilene XL, but of course, most folks won't be needing that much unless you are in the guiding biz, but lesser amounts are quite affordable. I'll give Izorline a look when next I resupply. Thanks for the suggestion.

Coming down with my younger brother. Gonna try and remain sober during this one for I want to be able to process what i see during the game

According to Chris Arvin on 247 (free), Delaware transfer Kory Holden is visiting VT this weekend. Has to be a plus that he will be here for the Spring Game.

Kory is down to Baylor, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech. Visiting the Hokies this upcoming weekend and then Baylor on April 29th. Will make a decision after his visits.
