I dont know about that. It seems pretty clear that the number 1 JUCO QB from every class can play. If Motley wins, it means hes a much improved quarterback from last year, which is great, but I dont get it, why are people writing Evans off. I think it honestly comes down to stars, if he was a 4-5 star qb in high school people would be going nuts, maybe not, I dont know, I dont get why people want to write him off because he did well in JUCO, nobody seemed to write off Chad Kelly for Ole Miss last year and Evans is a MUCH higher rated QB...
Ive never seen him play, who knows what kind of player he ends up being but I am pretty excited to hear what the students come back with from the scrimmage next week...
That would be a great deal for the Browns. But a pretty horrible one for the Bills. Get rid of a probowl QB for an rookie? Sorry to hear that he is disgruntled, but that is something that the Bills management can work out. Lots of time before the new season begins.
I'd be surprised if he transfers.

# | OT: NCAA athletes react on Twitter after receiving O'bannon Settlement checks Yeah fuck the athletes their the bad guys here FOR SURE.
Or maybe it was EA who did stuff like record the name Tebow into the game despite it not being a default option, because the players are generic, and to not be generic would involve compensating the players and that crazy good white QB for Florida certainly wasn't meant to be a real person!
Or the NCAA and CLC who said no to using real players despite their argument that players had no control over their image and likeness (perhaps because they thought they would lose if it went to court)?
Now if they want to bring the games back and say every player in it got a copy(like how Madden does it) then yeah that's pretty fair compensation, but the entire system as is was broken and rightfully gotten taken to task in court.
Redshirting doesn't mean you learn more. It actually means your less of a teaching priority to coaches and are further removed from game situations that motivate kids to really put in the work.
With a higher profile came bigger suitors, such that Nina was able to ask Clemson coach Dabo Swinney: "What can you do for my son that [Tech coach] Frank Beamer can't?"
Nina:

I want to not believe it simply because the browns are involved and the trade makes sense for all teams...that in itself is enough to make me question haha
I'm not disappointed by any means, however

What, you don't?
Frustrating is a colossal understatement. I just hated that Glennon became the scapegoat for that overall trainwreck. He had his flaws, but I still think the biggest problem with those teams was the O-line.
You should duck after that. :-)
I should expand on that thought, it's not just the killing off of characters....it's the swerve as soon as you feel like you know a direction.
There has been a lot of discussion this year about how Melisandre can bring JS back to life, how Sansa can unite the north, how Jon's real identity will be known and that he will utilize that identity to do glorious things, etc. Take the top 5 Fan Theories of what is going to happen in Season 6 and I bet at least three of them never come to fruition. Whatever you think will happen, won't.
Yeah! Definitely getting some early experience.

# | Evans and Motley Lead Quarterback Competition, Shibest Takes Over BeamerBall Tradition and even then, I think the fanbase doesnt seem like they trust him
Sadly I get this feel too. I don't understand why people are upset that he is in the running to start. It doesn't necessarily mean that the others are as "bad" as what they think Motley is, its more of how improved Motley could be in another full year at VT.
... am I missing a tradition where we all have urine bags with us?
From these interviews it sounds like he's already out there coaching
In a month with 30 days I worked 9. (When I had Kelly days otherwise it's 10 days)
I'm probably going to get piled on for this but there's something about his face that's just so.....punchable. No idea what it is but that's my first thought every time I see him.
*might be heavily influenced by his teams destroying us 3 times in the course of 2 seasons......
I thought you were in North Carolina?
Isn't it OK there?
(ducks)

# | Evans and Motley Lead Quarterback Competition, Shibest Takes Over BeamerBall Tradition They were watching the 2007/2008 offenses waste some of Bud's finest defensive work. It's fortunate the fans just booed and didn't throw urine bags on the field.
+1 this gif will always get a leg from me.

yeah, it was a great article. Doesn't really mention or highlight how awesome VT is though.
It's about time for Vinny to get working on the 5th Fuller!
To take this further off course. I've always been confused by his decision to us the 'J' sound vs. the 'G' sound. Most people I know pronounce GRaphics with that hard 'G'. I've never heard anyone say 'Jraphics' Interface. But hey, when you invent the format I guess you get to pick your pronunciation.

110% agreed.
