I would love that, and I would love to think that if we became a consistent title contender, Fuente would stick around for the long haul.

if fuente takes us to a national championship game he's going to get a very similar bump that following spring. he's a steal in terms of pure numbers, but he hasn't accomplished as much yet

the star wars nerd in me wants to say that this technically isn't virtual reality due to Luke having the visor down and being made to use the force to block the lasers. But the regular guy in we says ahhh I get your point, have a leg!

As someone who went to Clemson, this seemed inevitable. While Dabo is insanely loved by the fans (and vice versa), there is that constant lingering connection to Alabama that will likely be brought up whenever Saban hangs it up. They have the increased booster revenue to make these aggressive money moves and try to make it where he will never want to leave Clemson. In the age where we think there will never be another Bowden, Paterno, or Beamer, Dabo is on the shortlist of coaches I could see sticking it out at one school.

Did anyone hear the Mike/Mike discussion on this this morning? I didn't care very much about this issue and I realize that Mike/Mike usually don't delve deep enough to actually grasp the intricacies, but it changed my mind from being against satellite camps to being in favor. Simply put, what's best for the student-athletes?

I find it hilarious.

You're messin with someone who is completely zoned out in virtual reality. Its like scaring the crap out of someone who is fast asleep.

Would there have been a way to not eliminate these camps, but prevent schools like Michigan from holding practices at IMG academy? Because Satellite camps were beneficial to recruits, especially those that were less noticed and allowed northern schools to access recruits in the south/elsewhere. However, there is a big difference between holding practices at the most talent loaded "school" IMG academy because they can, and hosting satellite camps. One is a rich program taking advantage, the other is a benefit to student athletes.

Ok, well if they're comparing salaries, the "free" will still mean that Leicester never paid a transfer fee for those players. The salaries will be much lower for Leicester than Man City, too.

I don't know that I could play for a WR coach that is this stoic. I mean, come on man, show some emotion./s

Got a good look at some of the guys fighting for the #3 role. Durkin with a good grab in the end zone, Wilson with a nice grab, and Denmark with a couple.

I know this about athletics but when are the renovations to the athletic dorms projected. If I recall, I saw Zorn promoting to new Edge apartments to recruits since it will be a lot nicer than what the campus currently offers for dorms. If I am way off then my apologies. I just want to make sure for recruiting purposes or dorms aren't keeping recruits away compared to other universities.

They were comparing Manchesters salaries to Leicester salaries.

I don't think that refers to salaries. That most likely refers to their transfer fee. When a player is "free" it means that the previous team did not extend their contract, so they were essentially a free agent. Any team could offer a contract without having to negotiate a transfer fee. Typically, if a team wants a new player, they will have to pay the player's current team to get the player to transfer over. The teams will negotiate and agree on the transfer fee of the player.
