- I'm glad they included the cross country diagram, I don't think I had seen the new alignment for the road. I assumed it was going more on top of the old road. Cool design.

I think you misunderstood me. The goal of the camps was for geographically challenged programs to access more fertile recruiting grounds, not to maintain an advantage. They don't have an advantage to maintain. Schools not in the deep south, Texas, or California are not surrounded by D1 talent everywhere they look. The rule from the NCAA was designed as a protectionist measure to help the schools located in more talent-rich states/regions maintain their advantages, at the expense of everyone else.

Unfortunately there's no way to accurately quantify the effect, but I do still believe that it would give a higher turnout.

I do. You can essentially get All-22 footage; something you can't get from TV coverage. This is what coaches watch when scouting opposing teams, not TV footage.
Most spring game coverage is terrible. If the VT coaches were interested in how Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett looked on the sideline, then they got lots of it in Ohio State's spring game last year. Otherwise? Not much.
