# | Hokies Earn Sixth Seed In Upcoming ACC Tournament After 77-62 Trouncing of No. 7 Miami Looks like my fianc and I will be at the game tomorrow! My boss just called and said he had two extra tickets that I could have. In the nosebleeds but that's where I sit multiple times a year for caps games so I don't care. Lol surprising gesture from a Hoo considering he always gives me shit about being a Hokie.
Looks like they did make a #getBETTER stop today in The District after all.
Our #getBETTER group DC style this morning was @balancegym. U can tell from the pic, we believe in proper balance?! pic.twitter.com/144lBjtDYwβ Buzz Williams (@TeamCoachBuzz) March 8, 2016
This is why I never buy any budweiser or miller products (or beers they own, ie goose island, blue moon, etc). It's not even about quality anymore, they are actively trying to destroy beer for their own benefit.
Ahh that's right. Isn't the weekend around NYE typically wild card weekend for the nfl? They should just move it and make way for college foo- wait asking the nfl to move is like asking poop to not stink.
In five years we've gone from, "Hey, do you think our tight end can play quarterback?" to "Among our fifth-year senior with starting experience, our number one JUCO recruit or our four star developmental project, who would you like as a starter?"
Motley can't stay healthy and really didn't come from a QB heavy system in the wing-t. He played serviceable in a system that he was in for 3 years and I give him props for that, but the future is now.
Everyone is on the same level with this coaching staff. They are all starting from ground zero. If Evans or Motley wins it outright so be it. I would much prefer to go through some growing pains with the QB of the future then a 2 year stop gap.
Amen in principle, but I just can't stand most American light lagers (the style of lager, not "light beer"). It's not just the old cliche that American beers are bad, I think it's because they brew with funky adjuncts. Budweiser and Coors are brewed with rice, Miller with corn starch. To me, that just fouls up the taste something terrible. It's not all "cheap" beer, either. I can drink PBR, and am actually pretty fond of Old Style when I'm in the mood for a lawnmower beer.
That assumes they aren't going to get shot out of the building by Adam Smith on Thursday. Georgia Tech has improved a lot over the second half of conference play.
Also we'd wreck them anyway.

Welp, guess I should have read more than just the ESPN article. The media is making it seem like he is trying to bash Peyton, which is to be expected.
#GetBetter
Part of me is pissed they're making the Orange Bowl odd man out, but I actually think it'll be a net plus compared to being on NYE.
Unfortunately, our typical OL play is every QB's nightmare. That said I'm hopeful to see that steadily improve and that we have the talent under center to buy us a little leeway there.
And now I'm even more depressed that I skipped my early morning treadmill run this morning. No excuses tomorrow
NFL has games New Year's Day.
Just bought tickets off of stub hub, section 432. Haven't been to a hokie hoops game in 5 years, can't wait!
Can't be more excited and confident in the direction Coach Williams has this program going. The time he took to correct a small "behavioral problem" introducing the team to our military veterans and now something like this -just awesome.
If I could; it would also be awesome if he tweets the night before on these road trips, where/what gym they'll be headed to. The local Hokies could get the chance to flood the place -the team gets more jacked, maybe the gym gets a few memberships and the buzz (ahem) continues to gain more momentum on what Coach is doing with this program.
Lance Armstrong... yes I know... used to tweet out sometimes between training windows or during the offseason that he'd be doing a ride at "x and x" and he'd get a rolling mass of humanity. You get the jist. Just a thought...
I'm with you. The "Lawson for starter" campaign is essentially based on an assumption that he's as good as everyone hyped him up to be. I think he's got all the potential in the world, but in his limited time on the field, he bobbled a couple snaps and threw half his passes into the dirt. He has a lot of work to do. Meanwhile, Motley was a serviceable starter and Evans looks like he has great skills against post-HS competition in a good JUCO program. I think it will be an interesting spring/summer competition, for sure. If Lawson can get everything together, the guy could be a force. But I've seen nothing yet on field that makes me think he's ready. Could that be due to having him rushed onto the field? Maybe, even probably. But you're right that everything about him is based on speculation and hope.
Its nice to work for a company that has Observed holidays when actual holidays line up with the weekends :)
And he wonders why the Panthers cut him, can't even show a lick of respect to arguably the best QB of all time
Calling French.
Can't embedded tweets on my phone, but DeAngelo Williams is for some reason really salty about Peyton's successes. Says that he couldn't play in a western offense and literally said that he was trash last year.
If you actually read what he said, he gave a lot of respect for Peyton, but he went off on the idiots who are now speaking longingly about how great Peyton would be if he came back and how much he could still help teams only 4 months after openly questioning whether he should even be suiting up anymore. He's not wrong, Peyton was shit this year. They won the Super Bowl because of the defense and the defense alone.
I don't think it matters one bit who actually wins the job. The reality is that someone (who is pretty good) is going to win it. The one thing Evans will do is add competition and that is a good thing. Fuentes will figure out who will work best and the offense will be much better for it.
As to the article, the VT skill positions will be loaded this year & that is any QB's dream!

Let me help you out with that, Thunderdome
