Can't embedded tweets on my phone, but DeAngelo Williams is for some reason really salty about Peyton's successes. Says that he couldn't play in a western offense and literally said that he was trash last year. Also said that 2010 Jimmy Clausen was better than 2015 Peyton (as a Panthers fan, that is one of the most asinine things I have ever heard.)
And he wonders why the Panthers cut him, can't even show a lick of respect to arguably the best QB of all time.

Nope, I'm not blaming Lawson for anything. Yes he was underused. That doesn't change the fact that his game experience counts for next to nothing. Yeah, Evans' experience is only JUCO, but that's clearly different than throwing for 3,200 yards in high school.
Just because Lawson was underused and we all THINK he has pro potential doesn't mean he gets an auto-start.
This still will not solve the issue of viewership. Why not schedule the playoff games on New Years Day when we are all hungover and dedicated to the tv for the entire day?
The only reason I will not miss the late game on NYE this year is because VT will be playing in it.

I disagree that we would have been embarrassed in the NC, those Ohio State teams were very overrated and benefitted from a very weak B1G (see back to back blowout losses in NC games). I also disagree about being upset about them getting in ahead of us. I knew when they beat Tennessee they would jump us, and rightfully so, they beat our ass worse than any team has during the time I've been a fan.
Start times are so late... It's very difficult to get up there being a senior in high school. Wish I could go. I also don't understand the "sessions" they have on StubHub.

VTMaroonOrange's 3 keys to not acting "sketch":
1) When you get close enough to the ushers that they try to make eye contact with you, immediately look down at your feet and start walking slightly faster.
2) When they ask you for your ticket, start speaking in broken English and point to a general area of where you want to sit. They will likely walk you right to that spot, give you a hug, and leave you to enjoy the game.
3) If steps 1 and 2 don't work for some reason just stop whatever you are doing and freeze. Eventually they should leave you alone and just forget you are there. You can watch the game from this spot.

You are correct. I was up there a 10-15 years ago during football season and the first mention of college football in Sunday's newspaper came on page 14. That told me all I needed to know.
It definitely looks like a terrible idea on the surface, but depending on how the buyout is structured, it might not be so terrible. For a young and unproven coach, with little leverage, you might be able to negotiate a friendly buyout, which would benefit both coach and school. I somehow doubt that's the case for a guy of Lovie Smith's stature, though. I'm sure he was able to negotiate a generous buyout. If he flops, he'll be the next Charlie Weis, still killing the team for years after he's gone.

The Wednesday and Thursday are split into 2 sessions per day with 2 games being held in each session. So, tickets for Session 1 (Wednesday) and Session 3 (Thursday) are tickets to see the 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM game. Then the stadium empties and you need a different ticket for Session 2 (Wednesday) or Session 4 (Thursday) to see the 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM game.
