For the record: I cannot stand Kanye West (the personality).

This album was Kanye's best in quite a while, he did what he wanted to do, and although the album was heavily over-hyped, I can still go back and listen to it and see that it's really good. Kanye does different things as an artist now, and making the album TIDAL exclusive was a cop out for himself. He shouldn't be mad that his album is exclusively on an overpriced, lesser quality music medium where Apple Music and Spotify are much cheaper/better options. I'm not condoning the torrents, but I am content with the streaming medium I use and do not want to drop it/pay additional fees just to listen to Kanye's album. Him putting his album exclusively on TIDAL is basically the equivalent of his arrogant self, also marred by nonsensical Twitter rants. But if he can put out good music, people will listen.

Your first sentence hit the nail on the head. NBA range 3 with two Pitt players contesting the shot. When it went in, I was in disbelief for a full minute. I consider the shot going in miraculous. Nothing miraculous about VT winning. We outplayed Pitt for the most part, minus the beginning of the first half

I'm not worried about the FT's. We are currently 12th in the ACC in FT%, but I can't find a way to split it out in just ACC games. We have been much better since then, the OOC games showcased some really bad FT shooting.

Last night, we had Clarke shoot 10 FT's (!) and only made 5. He's a 67% FT shooter, so he missed two he should have made. Wilson is only a 55% FT shooter and was 0-3. Blackshear is a 54% FT shooter (but much better in ACC play) and was 0-2. Allen was 0-2, but he's a 75% FT shooter. The misses clearly got a little contagious there for a while, which happens with FT's.

Leday and Robinson combined to go 13-16. FT shooting is all about getting the right guys to the line. When Malcolm Delaney shot a dozen FT's a game, we were a good FT shooting team. It's clear Buzz wants Leday on the line as much as possible. Allen should have had 4-6 more attempts than he got.

Love Clarke's aggressiveness in this game. He's got a nice shot and his jumpshooting and FT shooting will come around. But right now, he's a little long and loose with the shot. Look for him to jump up from 67% FT's next year to the mid 70's.

The only stuff I've heard off the album were the two songs he did on SNL, Ultralight Beam and Highlight. The amount of autotune just made both unbearable. Hope the rest of the album isn't like that, though unless it actually becomes available, I guess I won't find out.

Meh...the guy makes a living by starting controversy and talking about how great he is. I'm not spending a penny on anything with this guys name on it. Squandering $35 mil and then begging others for help? Going into debt to start a clothing line so he can (try) and sell $500 jeans? Please. Do something constructive. Build others up and don't promote hate.

Let me preface by saying if there was a hard copy of this album I'd scoop it up immediately. With that being said, there's a huge difference in paying for an album and paying at a minimum of $12/month to hear an album. I know you get a lot of other streaming music, but I use Spotify premium and get student pricing at $5/month so it just doesn't make sense for me to switch to Tidal just for this album.

I pretty much agree with all of your points except 30 Hours and Facts. That is one of my favorite songs on the album. I also thought Chance's verse on Ultralight beam was the best on the album. I pretty much laughed out loud when I heard the Bill Cosby line in Facts honestly. Highlights and Feedback were a bit underwhelming for me.

Generally, I agree with Michigander that Waves through the end is the best part of the album hands down. I'm glad they held it off to put Waves in.

So far I've enjoyed the album although MBDTF in my opinion is his best complete work.

I'm tempted to jump straight from Ultralight Beam to Waves but when I dont I really enjoy everything up until Lowlights and then its just 4 garbage tracks before Waves.

Alot of the album seems just thrown together and doesn't match. Ultralight and Waves are so positive and uplifting and then we have FML, Wolves, and Real Friends that have a much darker tone.

Facts is a serious bumper and I love the sample on 30 Hours, i get how the song drags on and people hate it but his line about driving 90 miles like Matt Barnes makes up for it.

Waves through 30 Hours is the meat of this album I just wish I could listen to it start to finish.

The thing about these trends is, we can win even if they don't occur. We just have won when they do.

If there was a game where they allow students in for free, this would be it. I know they did for UNC, but that was a special case.

The athletics department should be doing everything to make that place full and loud.

I couldn't agree more with this statement, and quite frankly, it made me laugh out loud. Kanye West has slowly declined in the past couple of years. His cocky attitude and his "I don't care about anything but Kim Kardashian" personality really annoys me. Don't get me wrong, his old stuff is pretty good, but his new stuff is just absolutely awful, and the only reason I listen to it is because of the people featured in some of the songs.
