#9 Score more than the opponent. Tech has lost the vast majority of its games when outscored (0-13)

My problem here is we are torching him for something he "may" have done. It's not like he wrote an article complaining the T&F student athletes were being uncooperative. We jump on these #sauces like they are the word of god especially because it's Berman. I get he doesn't like VT- since all he covers is the BB programs, I don't have to read him- I can get all my info from other sources. I like Andy Bitter and read him all year - I think he does a great job. Saying something was a "jerk move" doesn't warrant the vitriol in his direction. He paints a picture of the football program that is pretty accurate and balanced.

I like the dig on Pitt. We get a record crowd at a neutral site, they can't get 15% of that to watch a home game.

About that! #sauses have told me that Bailey was extremely excited on his visit and impressed by the whole situation. Bailey told Fuente he was going to commit the day he left on his visit and wanted to talk to his mom about the decision. The story was the same and verified by Bailey leading up to signing day. Fuente and the staff were told and expecting Baileys fax that day but never heard anything from him on NSD. They were all shocked to hear he went somewhere else.

The theory is mom strongly wanted the brothers to play together.

Now take it as #sauses but there is much more to this story than just a kid trolling Tech.

I saw the same thing. The range of movement has really improved in such a short time. A lot of guys that were stiff three weeks ago have really improved and their lower body control is impressively smoother and quicker.

So many inappropriate jokes popped into my head that had to deal with PSU that I will squash quickly. Just throwing softballs man that will get my in trouble!

Is it just me or are the players looking faster/quicker today than in the past videos? Especially in the drills where they have to break down, chop their feet before changing direction.

Future is looking bright for this team

That's being rude to the Lollipop Guild. They are up front guys!

Those guys look way tougher than Berman and would kick his @$$.

While its going to be nice to have the first round tourney bye, our success may end up hurting us in the short term, at least as to whether we make the post season. We have a tough task the next two home games, and unless we play dramatically different basketball, we likely have two losses ahead of us, which would put us at 16-15, 8-10 on the year going into the tournament. By getting that first round bye, we lose a potential game against a bottom feeder before playing in the second round. We still should get someone ranked below us in the first game we play in the ACC tourney but after that it will be uphill opponent wise barring other upsets. Any hope for an NIT bid likely means we need to get to 18 wins which rests on either winning 1 of our remaining home games and the first game we play in the tournament, or probably needing to win two games in the tourney if we lose the next two home games.

As was mentioned above, Pitt just demolished Duke 76-62. Miami has to come in to play us after knocking heads with Notre Dame on Tuesday, so they may be a bit beat up after that matchup. Either way, it would be better to find a way to win one of these games. Also keep in mind that Pitt is a bubble team for the tournament so they will likely have that to play for. Miami is squarely in the tourney, just fighting for seeding at this point.

I think it is building the mentality that taking days off won't go unnoticed. If they are this quick to pull a maroon jersey from a team leader, the others take notice and realize there are no favorites. This will also carry over to the field and readjust their mindset towards taking a play off on game day. I like seeing the enthusiasm from the guys, there is a lot of vocal noise from a lot of different guys.
