# | Ben Hilgart Promises a Mix of Fun and Exhaustion While Constructing a New Culture I'm salivating over the idea that 278 lbs would be "average" on the defensive line.
Currently 6'5'' 278. I'm guessing DT if he came to the good guys?
That bowtie...

The Tri-color and Orange Chrome are hydrodipped helmets that cost the school somewhere in the $1100-1400 range from what I've heard from other programs equipment manager(s). You can't really replicate the way those two look with paint/decals.
$500 is pretty reasonable.
I touched on those two at the beginning of the year as those will be much more pricey due to the fact that they are hydrographic helmets when it comes auction time.
LAMP and TKP's CMS is Drupal 7 (although it's heavily optimized and tuned with a bunch of custom modules).

Has anyone actually won one of these auctions? Does it come with anything that identifies it as the certain jersey number, or is it just the helmet?
The first guy with his son was stuck at the Shreveport airport with us after the bowl game.
I live in DC.... disposable income doesn't exist anymore :(
From all of us to you,

Very respectful young man! Welcome aboard and let's go Hokies!
Butch Jones just got fired according to Dan Wolken, can't embedded on phone.
Edit: Fake account, sorry guys.
We're going to have 7 23 hour days full of fun and adventure. I'm going to make you boys strong.
All I can think of when I see this title.
Was just about to post something about that
Well, it's over now, but last night was a wild one here on the Middle Peninsula. Incredible wind, really did sound like hurricane force, limbs down and power out for several hours. Siren blaring, but don't know about injuries locally. Have a gas fired "whole house" generator, so we stayed lit up, but it was definitely scary.
Now we need our baseball staff to score a touchdown!

How can you read this article and not want to run through a wall? Sam Rogers is the freaking man. I hope he lives on in hokie lore for years after he graduates.

lol, well played.
"But as they progress, and as they improve and as they get better, they're going to be hungry for more and come back in the weight room and get after it again."
Yes sir, you will fit right in here.
LOL, this is funny....3 years later.
Edmunds was never moved to LB, nor was Wright. Moss has stayed a Backer.
Clarke was a solid player at Backer, but McKinnon hasn't really contributed. Motu is at Mike.
One Vandyke had a starcrossed career, the other didn't even get the career part. Shegog looks good.
Self reminder: whatever you think might happen, won't.
My wife got me the camo replica helmet for Valentine's. I want to post a picture, but can't figure out how to do that from the gallery on my phone.
We can put Tim Settle back there for a handoff. He has great short burst speed and physics will be on our side.
While I get what you are saying, I don't see him being better than the backs we have. I would rather give that scholarship to a walk on who has busted his tail for this team.

I do as well. For guys who have been around as long as we have, the environment is very similar to early years of Beamerball (TM).
It's shocking to now look back at the last 5 years or so and see how much of that "Lunch Pail" mentality that we had built the program on had withered away. It wasn't even perceptible at the the time. Still had the lunch pail, still had the t-shirts for 6AM workouts, but the culture wasn't there to match the artifacts.
Even the way we played, classic "Beamerball" was not just special teams play, but it was controlling the tempo of the game, winning the trenches, winning all the hidden yardage, playing field position, being physical. All of that stuff had eroded.
It's like someone has thrown the drapes open on this dusty old house.
