True. I would've liked to, but it's a lose-lose situation. Then there would've been others who thought it didn't deserve its own thread
Edit: it was also bumped a couple weeks ago to notify people of a match so I figured I'd go along with it
There is for sure, the problem is even with them we are 40 years behind on class sizes and student population since most Land Grant Schools killed their Cadet requirements by 1930.
What is an interesting comparison is how far we have pulled away since the mid 70's, loo at where VMI still is, and look at where we jumped to.

Seriously, I'd rather have pie any day of the week, but my wife really does make awesome cakes....butter cream frosting form scratch too.....she gets asked to make cakes for people all the time, and I usually help however I can while not getting in her way.......the photo above was from just last month for my next door neighbor who is a farmer who turned 90 (still out on the tractor every day).......and my 12 year old daughter and I made all the fondant vegetables which decorate the cake while my wife did all the baking & frosing & piping.
You should just make a new thread instead of using one that has the wrong date in the title.

Meade wasn't terrible but did lack the killer instinct. He could very easily have finished off, or at least severely crippled, the Army of Northern Virginia after Gettysburg. Instead he was too slow in his pursuit (admittedly he was hindered by some torrential downpours) and let a marvelous opportunity slip through his grasp.
FWIW though, I'd probably rather have Sheridan. His Valley Campaign of 1864 was brilliant and his ability to pull a victory out of the jaws of defeat at Cedar Creek was absolutely remarkable.

I have never been so confident in the Caps. This may be the best team they have every compiled. Legit top 2 scoring lines, a good defense, and probably the best goalie to date in net.
I went to Vegas a couple weeks ago and put $500 on their odds to win it all, so im all in to say the least.
