Exactly. He didn't qualify at Tech but did at Uva. Also, I doubt there is a "huge" gap if any. The admission standards for regular students aren't even a big difference any more.

All of Alabama's losses were to teams with QBs who were in the top 4 of rushing attempts or rushing yards for their team.
I'm not sure I would consider all of them dynamic dtQBs, I'm looking at you Bo Wallace, but they could run and they did so often enough to be a threat.
Also there's so stat I heard about Alabama on Mike and Mike that was like Alabamas record against pro style teams in the past however many years is something like 52-2
My hope is that the UNC players will make it up safely, but have a very long, tiring trip up and won't be quite as sharp for the game. That, coupled with hopefully a Cassell packed with students is a recipe for upset conditions. I drove up Thursday from Chapel Hill and am enjoying the snow in Blacksburg before the game on Sunday. I'd be very sad if the Tar Holes couldn't make the trip

4Door Short Bed Toyota Tacoma with a TRD Off Road package and a 6 Speed Manual Transmission. It's stock but it came with lockers and I was in 4WD Low. Toyota's low range is about the best on the market. I have Michelin LTX AT/2 tires but they have over 70K miles on them so they're not ideal (great tires, though. Michelin's best all terrain tire and does great in snow)

I thought I heard a stat earlier in the season during one of the games that VT has given up more rushing yards to QBs than any other D1 team since 2013. I can't find any site that actually tracks this, but given what I have seen on the field and the fact that other teams run their QB much more often against us it wouldn't surprise me.

That "bowl games in a row" category is a big deal to me. I don't want to hear about how many bowl games there are, or how easy it is to get to a bowl. We are the best at it, dammit, and I want us to go to a bowl game every year for the rest of my life.

There is already signs of progress in year 2 with already more ACC wins. Now I would like to see us finish around .500 to top it off. If better then its a plus and could lead to one of the smaller post season tournaments, but just being more competitive is a plus unlike the last couple of seasons.

Looks to be just over a foot here in Silver Spring. Neither of the dogs is particularly happy. But I was thrilled that power stayed on through the night. Looks like we'll hit 20" or more easily if the projections for today are true. Meteorologists in our area pretty much nailed this one so far.
