What do you drive? Need to have a lot of clearance to handle 16"
I hope so, I like seeing SWVA players make an impact.
9am- East Windsor, central New Jersey.....Snow started around 8 last night......it's coming down very heavy this morning.....fine dry snow coming down sideways in sustained winds of I'd say 30-40 mph with gusts to 60........my house is next to open farmland so its hard to tell exactly how much snow we have from all the blowing and drifting, but id guess we're near a foot so far......I've got spots in my yard ranging from almost blown down to bare ground, to drifts in the 2 foot range.....will update later today as well.......
Stay safe y'all........
0851 Arlington, VA. I just blazed a trail out of the parking garage and drove around the apartment complex. The snow is very thick. I had to work it up the hill out of the garage and again in a turn that hasn't been plowed yet. We have approximately 16" and like I said it is very very thick. There are only a handful of vehicles that can handle these conditions. I got a good chuckle out of a Jeep stuck in the snow on the news this morning. Don't go out. It's not worth it. I made it safely back to my parking space but I wouldn't recommend trying what I did.
Can someone refresh me on the difference between prep and JUCO, and how they affect the above? How does playing there affect eligible years remaining in the context above?

Update: At 0815 there was snow found on my car and in two spots in the mulch bed. SC has declared a state of Emergency*, everyone is advised to stay home and prepare to eat those who die in the massive snow we have received.
We have snowflakes in the air here in the Myrtle Beach area. Now everything will shut down.
My business partner is old family from Giles. Very pretty country. He's got a few hundred acres there. Big fisherman as well. He's got his favorite weight fly line as his license plate number.
Friend and I discussed what we would consider on the court improvement this year during an period in VT football season that was not much fun to talk about. He wanted to see us get an upset or too in some of the big games, get a marquis win were or there. I wanted to consistently beat the bad teams to prove we were not one. Sweep the bottom teams, don't lose to anyone in the bottom half at home. So far we done some of each. I am seeing progress, I am happy. We had both thought being a bubble discussion was more realistic than tournament play. The way we are playing, we may both have aimed to low, but I am keeping my expectations. I am enjoying having a hokie team do better than expected for a change!!
Maryland was after him and Yulee. I think with Yulee committing to Marshall, Beckett will still be a Hokie. Also I think it will help with Devon Hunter next year.
Well in the Lucas era before Disney most James Luceno novels were canon.
I have a really hard time keeping it straight now. Would this still be considered canon, or did it get shuffled into the Legends universe?
0741 Arlington, VA. Hard to tell from my apartment (not on the ground floor...) but looks like we might have close to a foot and still snowing steadily.
State College, 645AM Saturday, about 2-3 inches on the ground
The cover art for the book about Darth Plagues contains a very interesting picture.......

Kinda looks a little like Snoke to me.
This is just an odd story. Still trying to connect the dots. Anyway, hope he returns safely. Regardless of where he attends school, he's an American in territory where the residents and leaders aren't quite fond of us. Praying for his return.
Amazing. Read in Let Me Be Frank that Tech was one of the first, if not the first, to run out on the football field holding an American flag. Started after 9/11. Proud to be an American and a Hokie.
fantastic!

would this work for beef arm roast?
Wow, great work finding all of the information and compiling it into the stats seen above! I enjoyed reading the tables and comparing us to the Blue Bloods of college football...
This is a REALLY great testament to the program that Frank built here at Tech, and the consistency and winning culture he built up from the ground. Yet another reason to be thankful for our Beloved Ball Coach, the list keeps on and on and on!!! Dagnabbit who brought those stinkin' onions around again...
That story is downright ridiculous. This guy has a problem with addiction in general not just video games.
I'd say we haven't been putting our best foot forward. It feels like we've been a great program that ends up coasting along indifferently in big games.
No blizzard where I'm at, but NE Ohio is chronically sunless and driven by bad weather. It's fun to keep up on the weather in Va here and on Facebook, though. I finished this up quickly once I realized a few statistic fans might be stuck indoors and bored.
Now that's what I'm talking about. Hope we can begin to see som of these kids win national titles for the Hokies and then a team title soon. If we can continue to recruit like this, we should see that become a reality. Go Hokies.
Have to admit, one of the best times I have had at a Virginia Tech sports event, was when the Hokies upset Ohio State last year in the Cassel. Free event and lots of emotion and excitement in the air.
Very proud to support a coach and school who respects and teaches his players to respect our flag and military. That's rare these days. Go Hokies, and thank you coach Willaims.

Looks to be just over a foot here in Silver Spring. Neither of the dogs is particularly happy. But I was thrilled that power stayed on through the night. Looks like we'll hit 20" or more easily if the projections for today are true. Meteorologists in our area pretty much nailed this one so far.
