My sympathies are with you my friend. We just finished our basement and I don't even want to go down there because of sick of seeing it from having to build parts of it.

I am one of the lucky ones that has to go work in it, taking the calls from the citizens and visitors of the Commonwealth who didn't have enough sense to stay in and then end up in ditches or worse. (Which doesn't appear to include any of you fine folks, so I thank you.)
But, in case you are ever driving during or just after a snow storm, and see some poor folk stranded on the side of the road, don't call it in, unless you have a good description of both the vehicle and the location (or have stopped out with said person and determined that they have not already called). What usually happens is that we get a screen full of calls, and as we give them out (rather slowly), the troopers inform us that they have already dealt with that one. Or they go on a wild goose chase for a vehicle that someone already helped.
Also, if you're driving from somewhere north of Richmond, trying to get to Hampton, don't keep calling every five minutes to check if you're going the right way, after we've already told you to go 95 to 295 to 64. Sadly, that's a true story, and the guy did not seem to like my suggestion to take the next exit and buy a map. Apparently, that wasn't fair.
