So let me get this straight...Michigan pulled their offer and everyone here automatically thinks VT should jump on that train? Is that simply because he was/is rated a 4* recruit and ratings are gospel or is there something people actually know about this kid?
Because it seems to me that true 4* OT's don't exactly grow on trees - for any school. So if Michigan is letting him go (ethics aside), then perhaps the UM coaches don't give a rat's behind about star rankings and they believe he's not really a 4* OT (maybe not even close to it) - or maybe there's more to this story.
I'm not saying he should just be written off without any thought, but if the staff doesn't make much of, if any, run at the kid, I'm not to going to second guess them or lose any sleep over it.

Several years ago in WV when we got about a foot of snow with a layer of ice on top, my parents' corgi fell through the ice and got stuck with basically just his face sticking up through the snow. It was awesome.

I set out to buy a '15 this year, as I was hoping to get a good deal as the '16s were coming in. The '15s were all gone but I ended up liking it so much that I got a '16.
My main issue with the Subaru was comfort, the seats were not comfortable at all in addition to not liking the station wagon look. All depends on what you need, Subaru has better off-roading capabilities and will probably be better in bad weather (though it probably has a lower clearance) and some really cool tech.
I can't really speak to the '15 model of the CX-5 but I would encourage getting the 2.5L if you go with the CX-5, the 2.0L needs a little more pickup.
Since you're in NOVA, I had a great experience at Browns Mazda (I went to Fairfax but there's an Arlington one as well). Avoid Rosenthal at all costs, they're horrible.

On the other hand, the corgi loves snow, but she's only about 9" at the shoulder, so playing in the snow this time around may turn into "searching the snow for the dog."
SMU might have a case for being the top team in the country right now. Unfortunately for them though, there is a reason for that and because of that reason they are ineligible for postseason.

what put the CX-5 over the top for you compared to the Forester? I've been doing a little research on small SUV's and the previous gen (2011-2013) Forester and the 2013-2015 CX-5 have both made the short list.
