I have no issue with saying that Seth needs to improve his decision making, but it really seems like Buzz is working with him on that. There was a point in the second half where he got the ball late in the shot clock and I think earlier in the year, he would have taken a deep, bad three. Instead he assessed the situation, and found Hudson in the corner for a big three. It really seems like he is starting to trust his guys more as everyone gets more comfortable.

As for the three at the end of the game, I have no issue with that whatsoever. He had hit a three going towards the basket in transition like that earlier in the game, it was from straight on, and it was on the road against a good team. Not to mention if you had to pick our "closer", it would easily be him. I like Bibbs but he needs to step up and be more aggressive. Lastly, I agree 3 seconds is plenty of time to drive to the rim but the problem is that once you make that decision, you're stuck with it. That's likely not enough time to drive and kick so you better score or make both free throws. So in that situation, with the defense sagging off him, I think it's the right shot.

Either way though, I want to point out that Buzz might be the best coach I've seen when it comes to using the players he has. His substitutions yesterday were really impressive between keeping the guards fresh, keeping Seth from getting too far out of control and rotating the bigs as they got in foul trouble. We are lucky to have him.

Haha hard to say Ravens fans do the same thing with redskins fans considering the ravens have been almost unarguably better than the redskins the last decade or two, save for a few seasons.

Ravens and redskins is a fun local rivalry for a lot of people, but I've never met a ravens fan who says "well I'm just an orioles/baseball fan" if the ravens lose.

I can't say I've ever felt like the ravens fanbase is known for anything when compared to an average NFL fanbase

It makes me feel even better about our season knowing that two of our losses came against two of those giant-killers: Iowa State (beat us and #1 Oklahoma) and West Virginia (beat us and #1 Kansas).

I hate to see him go to UMD but at the same time with all the offers we have thrown to RBs we can now make more room for these blue chips (if we land em)

Yeah...I grew up in Hampton and this is one of the times that make me glad I moved to Manassas.

I assume by your username you live on/near Langley? I grew up living < 5 min walking distance from the Armistead gate

I'm flying out of DC at 10am to Orlando, hopefully not stopped by my one hour layover in Charlotte, NC. One sleep stands in my way between a blizzard and disney.

Yep.

I've noticed that by the end of winter folks have somewhat adapted to it, but for some reason their memory banks get completely erased in the spring and the learning curve starts all over again every winter.

Already had it planned but Mrs. VTmbaHacker and I are going for a 'get away' weekend to a resort in Middleburg VA just down the road. Hoping to get snowed in Friday Night, enjoy some good food, good wine/spirits Saturday, and still be able to make it out for my work travel flight on Sun.

I implore you, do not denigrate the name Peach. My best friend and the best puppy in the whole wide world was named Peach. I love her and still miss her every day. I see her grave in the back yard every day. I have her on my screen saver. Please, please, do not conflate her sacred name and memory with those backstabbing mongrels who call a basketball game. Just don't! You guys are computer whizzes, find another bad guy for your analogies. In the name of all that is holy and good....

Well their coach is climbing trees, and sleeping on kids floors. I believe that is what we refer to as a "pink elephant."

Agreed with everything until you brought up Ravens fans.

College Park to Fedex Field (Redskins) = 10 miles
College Park to M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens) = 30 miles

Don't lump Maryland fans and Ravens fans in the same group.

The skift we got last night was enough to make a passenger van wreck up into the median on S Hayes Street by my apartment this morning. I wonder what kind of carnage I'll have front row seats for this weekend.

I love absofuckinglutely LOVE this basketball squad.

There, FIFY. But in all seriousness, yes I LOVE what this team is about and what they bring to the floor. I'm genuinely excited as to what the rest of this season and the years ahead have to hold. Seriously wanting a Buzzketball shirt at the moment.
