I had this same thought myself when I was graduating back in 2007 and was definitely feeling the anxiety over it. But it will be ok. The players come and go but you still root for the team the same. You can get season tix and head back to a lot of games. I go to 4 or 5 a year and at the age of 30 you can still catch me at Tots every Friday and Saturday of game weekends.

That being said do a 5th year. Then go be a ski bum for 4 years in a western ski town and travel in the spring and fall before you finally have to get a real job. Or don't get a real job. That's good too.

VT isn't going anywhere.

I uploaded an MP3 of Stick It In to my PS and set it to play after every 3rd down conversion. Sadly there wasn't a red zone trigger. I did the same for Enter Sandman for kickoffs.

Yeah, this was never gonna be a good recruiting year for us, and getting bitch-slapped by the weather is just another drop in the bucket at this point. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. Maybe next weekend we'll get a bonus commit or two.

Not to be mean but I've never seen a rb run so tentatively in my entire life. Was very frustrating to watch that's for sure.

Wish him the best at Maryland though.

Beamer has done other clinics with coaches and even college staffs before. In fact, he taught a lot of teams about special teams which led to the changes folks have done for protection. Glad to see Beamer getting out there and sharing the wealth of knowledge he has. Hopefully he pokes at Harbaugh about the GT screw up.

Yep. Heard he was on Maryland's campus Saturday but didn't want to post. He went for the basketball game.

He has had some guys in his ear for a while now that despise VT and have wanted him to transfer for years. I know the family well and I respect the heck out of Ferrell and Cookie. I understand and respect the decision. I'm just irked that the guys who have wanted this to happen long before it even made any sense got what they wanted.
