reminds me of this scene from Raleigh a couple years ago

Georgia is the only state where I have seen people abandon their cars in the middle of the road. No attempt to get it to the shoulder. Just abandoned. I'm not sure I will ever adjust to living in this state.

Eh... this goes both ways. It is difficult to teach physicality to a certain extent. I think most kids who get to the DI football level already have overcome that, especially if they are defensive players.

What is more difficult to measure is how the lack of confidence, knowledge, muscle memory etc. and how the associated hesitation ultimately results in not being in the right position. You are a much better tackler when you are in the correct position to tackle.

I go to Roanoke College right down the road and am originally from good ole Martinsville so I love snow. Sadly we never cancel classes because a majority of our admin and student body are yankees. We didn't cancel at all last year. I'm hoping this will be divine intervention for everyone down here.

In other news, holy hell I can't believe that thread in almost 6 years old! I remember reading that thread when I was but a shy TKP lurker my sophomore year

Back when Georgia got hit with record-setting snow in winter 2011? That guy right there was me.

Herndon- Nice!

Yea, you're drive back into the city on Friday could be insane should you commute that day. Heck, the 1" they're calling for today will send people scrambling tonight.

I also work in Herndon but commute from DC. I've already decided to not even try and drive to work on Friday, with a chance of being stuck out here. Snow or no snow, Friday will be a work from home day for me.
