I second the recommendation for "Scratch." Folks can always do a "limited trust" pizza if they're weenies. Also, you can BYOB and they have a large selection of vinyl to play while waiting for your pizza.
Nothing will replace KK, but Donut World is not bad.
For those on a budget, just take a 5 iron, a wedge, a putter, and a rolling cooler and walk through E&H's remaining 5 holes.
Also looks like if the Chargers choose to stay in San Diego, the Raiders will then be given the option to move in as the second team in LA.
If that happens, it can be like the 80s and 90s again!....except with some other changes of course

I was going to add onto Hokiegirl's comment from above about Hokie Smokie and Johnson City in general, but I figured I had enough info from living in JC for the past two years I could fill people in.....
Hokie Smokie is really good, I'd recommend the BB Cheezer (think a grilled cheese, but with BBQ and bacon, your heart will "thank" you later). Cootie Brown's and Jack's City Grill (GIANT QUESADILLAS) are owned by the same people, pretty good food. If you're looking for sushi in Johnson City (because that's where you go for seafood....the mountains), Label is very good, though they do other things than sushi as well. Pizza....probably Scratch is a neat little place, they're kind of what I'd describe as "hippy" joint, but you can do a "Trust" pizza, where they choose all of the toppings.
I'll be moving to Richmond in February (maybe), and I have a feeling I'm going to miss Johnson City.....but I will be back for the game, so there's that!
No way were the Rams staying after Kroenke burned every bridge and salted the Earth in the explanation on why they needed to leave StL, calling it a 2 sport town at best with economic depression to the point where any potential owner looking to bring a franchise there has already failed just by considering it. Even still, feel bad for Rams fans as it sucks to get something you like ripped away. They had great crowds back during the Kurt Warner years but they have been so bad for so long it eventually wears.
Sounds like San Diego will likely err on staying and take a $100M payout from the league to help fund a new stadium there.

I have a deep seated despise for the StL Cardinals, if the Rams move I would think more people would attend Cards games giving them more cap space. So I hope it's the Chargers and the Rams serve as a revenue drain on that sesspool that is StL

Was really hoping it would be either the Rams or Raiders, but I really don't think LA has the sort of sports environment that could justify two NFL teams.
There needs to be a ton of Hokies come into town for this game! I know we're going to be outnumbered by Tennessee fans, but still... I want to see more burnt orange than puke-inside-a-pumpkin-orange.

Ugh. Thank Goodness the vote finally passed. However I feel like the fireworks haven't even started. Going to be some bickering until the teams are well past moved.
As a Liberty Alum, I'm not too worried about our team going into 2016. We're loosing a good QB who is in the top 2 or 3 in a lot of our records in Josh Woodrum, but have a strong backup in rising r-JR Stephon Masha who has started in two big wins as a r-FR against Coastal Carolina to secure a spot in the FCS playoffs as the Big South representative and a win over a Vad Lee led JMU team in Harrisonburg in the first round of the playoffs. Masha is very much a dual-threat QB, having moonlighted as a receiver and wildcat QB early in his career because he was too good an athlete to leave on the sidelines.
At Running Back and Reciever we have some talented players (for the FCS level) returning, but do lose some important players there.
The biggest worries I have for Liberty's 2016 are:
1. Who is going to be the kicker? Departing senior, John Lunsford was 12/16 in his career from 50+ including a 60 yarder into the wind against Richmond to send the game to overtime, however as a senior he was only 13/25 overall on FGs. This leads me to...
2. Protection on kicks! Liberty had 5 FGs blocked in the 2015 season and if I'm reading the stats right 3 punts blocked (I thought there were more, but that's what the stats say). While this will probably be a point of emphasis for the team this Spring/Fall, especially having VT on the schedule to start the year off, we allowed way too many blocked kicks in 2015 and in one instance Coach Gill chose to have the punter take a safety rather than risk a block in a tight game (ended up being a good choice).
The flames have beaten some lower level FBS schools in the past (Ball State, Appalachian State) and have been able to keep games close with P5 FBS schools (Wake, WVU), but overall I still expect the same outcome I predicted a month or two ago; the Flames are able to keep it within a score or two through halftime, maybe even into the 3rd before the Hokie's depth and talent allow them to pull away for a comfortable victory at the end.
So our head coach last year and head coach this coming year won NC's one after the other.
