Got news for you.
That kind of thing is already in the works under the Dept of Food Science and Technology..
VT has had an enology (grape and wine) for some time, they are moving into brewing and malting as well.
Also working on hops development for VA agriculture.
The Human and Agricultural Biosciences Building is already getting into full swing.
Some really good things going on here to rival what's happening at University of Oregon and UC Davis.

He looks like he's 5'9" when he's playing fullback.
I know someone else who looks 5'10" while playing fullback.

"Way too early."

Why is Vader about to board an airplane?

A few years back, Cav told a similar story at one of the NOVA Hokie Club recruiting nights. He slept on a recruit's couch in order to beat the coaches waiting outside the family's front door for the signature on signing day.
I can see the conversation between the mother of the kicker, the kicker, and Coach Harbaugh going something like this:
Mother to Kicker: "Son, it's 3 in the morning, what are you doing?"
Kicker: "Talking to Coach Harbaugh"
Mother to Kicker: "Right, exactly, and what is Coach Harbaugh doing at 3 in the morning?!"
Kicker: "Recruiting me."
Mother to Coach: "Sure. Right. And just what, Coach, are you wearing right now"
Coach: "Uhh, Khakis"
Mother to Kicker: "He sounds hideous"
Kicker: "Well, that's because he's from Michigan."
I mean, if he prefers sleeping in recruit's bedrooms, I can't blame him for not wanting the cameras on him all the time
That is just... so.... wrong....
But hilarious...
OK, that's funny as hell. Love the part where the whole team turns (almost) in unison.
Agreed, I don't want him taking "our" kids outta state to UGA the same way I don't want Chip West from loluva taking our kids to Charlottesville. Hokie Pride.
EXIT LIGHT, ENTER NIGHT, ENTER THE HOKIES
My expectations for next season are pretty close to this. If we can win the Coastal and be competitive against Clemson, I'd call it overachieving and be ecstatic.
He has a real nose for the football and finishes with an attitude. The one thing that concerns me is that about half of his sacks or TFLs come because the left or right tackle don't bother to even try touching him coming off the edge which is something he won't ever see in college
He gets his arm through before the glass completely breaks.

Recruiting is gonna be a lot better this season after I win the powerball and force (and fund) the Athletic Department to hire like 50 support staff for recruiting.
Agree on Dickerson. Are we still on Malcolm Pridgeon? Consensus top 10 JUCO OT.
I'm going to give you a leg for the Ashley Schaeffer reference
And how will a rebuilt defense fare with three new starters up front?
I think we have a way to SETTLE this!!!!
Top 3 teams aren't on our schedule. Bottom two teams are our cross-divisional games.
Balanced division set:
Home division games: Miami, UVA, GT
Away division games: Pitt, Duke, UNC
We need to take back Lane Stadium. Win those three and the two cross-divisional games, take 1 of three on the road, that's 8-4 overall record assuming we lose the two top 10'ish OOC games.
The crazy thing is, even with our defense the past two years not being up to what were used to, its still in the upper half of all teams and in the ACC behind Clemson and BC who are 2,3 respectively Louisville at 14 and FSU at 22:
ESPN Defensive Efficiency Rating:
2015 - VT Ranked 36 overall and 5th in the ACC
2014 - VT Ranked 9 overall and 3rd in the ACC
In the playoff game the announcers had mentioned Alabamas record against Pro Style offenses, which was something crazy like 60-1, dont qoute me on that, I have no idea what the actual number they said was, but it was pretty surprising.
That leads me to, I wonder what Bud's efficiency rating is against Pro Style Offenses, Option Offenses and Spread Team offenses, someone should get on that haha.
We could probably formulate something close without needing all the drive data based on opponents punt rate, turnover rate, Opponent Offensive TD/Kicking scoring rate; you'd probably only need turnover and Opponent scoring rate, and total drives and you could get something close?
nah, JCC's just making sure he stays down
