Nobody. Circles the Wagons. Like the Buffalo Bills.

I keep hearing about how Clemson is really an SEC-esque team (which is what I heard about Florida State 2 years ago), so it would make sense that the SEC Network is doing something special for it.

It's an all-SEC national title game, after all!

?
I don't have a gif to express my excitement but yay!
Then I would throw my hand around Bucky while we laugh our way over to West End for a

Hmm... would you buy anOSU @ nearly $950M or the Buffalo Bills @ $1.4B?
#sauces 5 million gets you naming rights.
I'm glad you're digging it. The entire album is pretty solid. Be warned though: If you go back further in in his discography he gets a bit rockier and less folkier. If that's your thing, enjoy.
I set my DVR to record the Homer Broadcast, Film Room, ESPN Voices, and Finebaum Film Room just in case Tammy or Harvey call in.
The amount of discourse (nearly 150 comments!!) on this subject is puzzling on what I thought was a simple issue. Wiles and Gray SIGNED a 1-year CONTRACT. Thus, they had an opportunity to NEGOTIATE their salary. If they didn't like the initial offer, they could have rejected the offer and entered a salary that they felt they deserved.
It's merely simple contract negotiation. It's NOT a pay cut because it's a yearly contract.
Will be watching the normal broadcast at the bar, then sometime next week will enjoy the Film Room replay because it is a great learning experience.
Just imagine the day soon when VT is back in these games and we get all these ways to watch the Hokies, and other coaches breaking down our play?
Khakis must not hold up to that Michigan winter weather very well.
absolutely... just seemed like haskins and tino were a package deal and were the ones who lead the maryland movement thing
The NCAA should make the travel to and from this "spring camp" count into practice time. The students are being forced to give up extra personal or study time to travel across the country to perform a part of their scholarship obligation that could easily be done on campus. Make the coaches give up 15 hours of spring practice if they want to do it on the road and see how great of an idea this becomes.
VT is going to be worth a lot more when I win Powerball this week. #amirite

What's "normal" is to fire everyone and bring in all your own guys. I'm honestly surprised some people are so up in arms about this (not directed towards you, bblankin). If the coaches in question don't care, why would some random dude on the Internet care? I know, I know, that's what the Internet is for, but still.
There's a lot of knotted panties in this thread, towards no purpose I can discern other than trying really hard to find something to criticize.
I figured out how to shorten the PacMan line, I bought one of the original PacMan's several years ago. :-)
Yeah I definitely remember Crossroads being in Blacksburg. We used to have a Crossroads in Lexington too back in the day. Purple is hands-down some of the best songwriting these guys have done. The vocal melodies and hooky choruses are great, and that melody is what separates this album from Blue Record for me. Just has a lot less metal and more pop/rock feel to it while still having a trademark Baroness heaviness. I feel like Purple is a more refined attempt at what they were experimenting with on Y&G.
Red Album stands out to me so much since it came out my senior year, and everyone into the music scene at my high school was stoked when the album came out. It was their first full length, and so many Baroness standards came from that album (Rays on Pinion, The Birthing, Isak, Wanderlust). The guys had all relocated to Savannah, GA and rose to prominence there, but the band definitely had its roots in Lexington. I remember they and Valkyrie (whose original members are also all from Lexington) would play shows at the skate park and elsewhere around town when they were just starting out in the early-mid 2000s. It was definitely a fun local music scene. It wasn't surprising at all that they kept the Lexington connection with Pete from Valkyrie joining the band when they switched guitarists before recording Blue.
January in VT recruiting should be very interesting. We have like 30+ names floating around for about 10 spots. Most of them brand new names.
Wait, the Bachelor is on tonight. Football?
I can't seem to find the ACC Network on my listings...
Uh, New Mexico to VT is a promotion...
ESPN is just utilizing a resource. They would have used that channel last year if Alabama had make it past the Sugar Bowl. Big Ten and Pac-12 Networks didn't do anything special last year, because they aren't run by ESPN.
No, my bigger issue is the massive delay between the online stuff and the TV stuff, so if I flip to ESPN3 during commercial for Skycam or whatever, I'm just seeing the last five minutes before the commercial.
No worries, I didn't take it that way at all.
I know Burfict well. I literally turned to my ASU alum wife and said "Steelers better watch out or Burfict is going to hurt Rothliesberger". Very familiar with his "style" of play.
A shame really because if he wasn't such a headcase on the field he is actually pretty darn good.
