I'm right with you, i don't buy singles and will only buy albums. If you like an artist support them and everything they make. This makes me a bit pickier when i do pick up something on vinyl but I want it to be some so complete front to back and something i can pass on to my kids. So far for 2016 the vinyl I have bought are Leon Bridges- Coming Home, The Arcs-Yours, Dreamily, and Simon & Garfunkel's-The Concert in Central Park

With my Orange and Maroon glasses, I'll agree that he's one of the best in the business. We know his value to us, but we don't know his value nationally because he's never left or been elsewhere in recent history. So you can't say that he wouldn't take a paycut to go elsewhere. Much of the staff's salary was based not on how much they are worth to keep them but the loyalty and annual bonuses they received. Everything got reset when we hired a new HC except for Bud because he was on a different contract.

There is no way that Gray would leave and take a paycut. He is one of the best in the business and people know it, Ladler cited his reputation as the reason he stuck with us. Gray should be making more than all of the other position coaches, Wiles isn't on the same level but certainly deserves to make the same at 260k

I guess we have to assume Fuente knows what he is doing. The initial reaction I assume should be that Fuente recognizes that Scott has abilities that we do not know. He must be extremely valuable to him to gather that kind of contract and title. Sure it seems a little insane but I l look at Fuente as making pretty calculated in his decision making, there must be a reason.

With that said I think that Scott needs to immediately mesh with the rest of the staff. If there is any kind of hesitation it could potentially cause discontent. At this point were approaching wild made up internet speculation though.

no Shibest is 400k~. I don't care what the other assistants are making Gray is one of the best position coaches in the country. Wiggins/Scott/Burden are all moderately successful G5 coaches that are unproven.

Have you listened to the ep they put out before Flourish? Only 5 songs and the production's not as strong but the songs are really, really good.

So if each assistant coach, instead of making $260k and Burden making $200k made $271.4k and $211.4k, you'd be okay with it because the entire budget was spent? Even though it still means Gray and Wiles would have a paycut?

I really look forward to a (next year) lineup with a stronger Kerry Blackshear, better-shooting Justin Robinson, and healthy Ahmed Hill and Chris Clarke. Throw in Bibbs and Hudson and phew.... that is an athletic, fast, fun to watch team

Honest question, if Wiles and Gray had gone elsewhere and taken pay cuts to be making $260k and any other coach came in here making that same amount, so basically anyone not a Coordinator or with an Assistant or Associate Head Coach title, would people be upset? Sure, it sucks when those who have been loyal to the program and stuck around get paid less, but with a change at the top, everything is re-evaluated. The market value of each coach is evaluated and their loyalty reward is that they get to stay in Blacksburg.

Is there even a University of Vermont? (also, I apparently forgot to close my sarcastia there... oops.)

edit: According to google, there is a University of Vermont. It's small and it's abbreviation is apparently UVM.

Money is money. Employer tells you "hey, you can spend up to this amount on your staff." You say "well I only need to spend this much on them, but what I could really use is some extra guys on this end, so I saved you some money to help get us some there." Makes sense really.
