Billy Ray Mitchell responded something along the lines of "You're good. You're one of the hardest workers I know." I might be over analyzing this, but do you think he might've gotten hurt?

They still struggled to get a good look at the basket throughout the game. Even when the clock was winding down it was taking them 20+ seconds to get a shot up. They seemed to be getting back in the game in the third quarter, getting within four at one point but that was as close as they could get it. The refs had some heavy whistles, especially around rebounds in the second half, although I don't watch enough NCAAW to know if that's normal or not. Really felt like Panousis needed to be a bit more selfish in taking shots rather than passing. The freshman, Hicks, reminds me a ton of Chris Clarke. This year she might be a half step too fast for the flow of the game, overcommitting on at least three occasions where if she was more methodical it likely would have been easy baskets. 56-48 the final score here.

# | AD Whit Babcock Promises Uniform, Fundraising, Facilities Changes Coming in 2016 Hyperbole doesn't change the fact that Thursday night games in Lane Stadium are still a valuable recruiting tool regardless of the fact that there is an NFL game on. Until that changes the Virginia Tech will likely continue to ask for Thursday night home games every season. Your doom and gloom scenario won't happen until ESPN "pulls the plug".
I just saw the ID2 preview tonight before that other big movie that's out, looks good. Almost broke the speakers in the theater when the ship comes over.
Or after we score 2 or 3 times, just take a knee 3 times and punt for the rest of the game.

I'm slightly color blind, but unless my eyes are deceiving me yet again, we are lacking heavily in Virginia and the ultra talent-rich region of western Maine.
Well for one I think he will prolly be in the 260-270 range once he enters a college weight lifting program. And I'm not sure a MLB that big could do what bud asks his MLB's to do.

They failed to work the ball inside almost the entire quarter, turned the ball over several times and basically let Louisville do whatever they wanted to. 31-18 at the half after the 13-13 start to the game. Louisville dominated on the offensive boards this quarter, scoring 10 points on second chance opportunities in the quarter.
This is starting to get out of hand. We need to start a similar #gameday4frank movement except for #virginiapolytechnicinstituteandstateuniversityhokies to educate these fine future hokies.

Foster's system emphasizes speed over size, so we generally get smaller defensive players. I think this has led to people assuming Foster doesn't want big players, since we generally don't get big guys with the twitch Foster needs. The mistake many make, as you said, is in assuming we wouldn't use a big linebacker. There are only so many players that have both speed and size, and frankly we usually don't get those players. I think Bud would have no problem with a big LB as long as he has the speed to execute the system as he wants it to be executed. There's no such thing as "too big" to play LB for Tech, as long as we aren't sacrificing the speed the scheme requires.
