Best measurable is your heart. You can also be a 5'8" center as far as I'm concerned, as long as you can take care of your opponent.

We do not have many hurry up spread teams in the conference to use to prepare for them (Fuente!). We also had some teams get in over their heads in bowl games by padding their schedule with east OOC's. Finally, teams have extra time to prepare for a bowl, so you often see an extra score. The Pitt game shocked me. If you watched the other teams this season you would not have expected many of these teams to play good defense. I agree teams like BC, Syracuse, and Wake really padded some defensive stats. Middle of the ACC defense has not been great, but feels like it is still similar to the middle of the pack for other conferences. All teams are scoring more, like the rules committee wanted them to when they changed the rules.

I find this story hilarious - a guy named Ball caught stealing balls because he had a history of stealing balls.

I always thought when you make an int in a bowl game, you should be awarded a $15 football. I'm just not sure why he didn't just get the balls from his own team, though, instead of stealing them from the opponents sideline. You think the balls were meant for his trophy case, or the dude has a side biz selling footballs?

I think Louisville did a solid job vs Texas A&M's air raid. UL, unlike UNC, was able to stop a team down to its 3rd QB.

That is what I was saying all year about Clemson's defense... They might look better tonight because they've had all this rest, but if they don't get pressure with the front 4, look for Baker to carve them up.

If you get upset by losses, maybe you should stop following this year's squad before ACC play because we are going to lose early and often likely en route to another basement finish. Right now this is not a good team. Between injuries and youth, it just is asking to much for this year. We opened the season with a loss to Alabama State, which should have been a big red flag for those expecting the record to improve.

This is only Year 2 of a massive overhaul. Our program was a legitimate disaster when Buzz was hired after being pulled driven into the ground and detonated on impact by the previous administration. What we are seeing right now is why those who follow the game questioned Buzz wanting to come here from Marquette. It was never going to be a quick process.

Well written. I would give you a leg but, alas, i can't. I do like the hustle and tough play of this team. However, we have no one on the team that can shoot CONSISTENTLY. Ok, Bibbs can shoot and so can Allen. Outside of them, we have no outside presence at all. I love Clarke's motor, but he can't shoot a lick either. Throw the damn ball up, what are we going to do, lose?

I was already a member, but unfortunately we'll be moving far enough away this summer that I doubt I'll get to many games next year.
