Wow I just learned that I apparently don't know anything about how officials watch the game. This is great stuff!! Please write more. Can you start with an overview written in crayon for the majority of us who only know they throw yellow hankies when they don't like you?? /s
Thanks!

Will be interesting to see how the money works out with the last position. If we assume that Brad Cornelsen is going to come in and make approximately what Loeffler was making (424,000), then that leaves approximately 294,000 to pay the last position. Galen Scott was making 218,479 at Memphis so it could conceivably be possible.

Edited: Galen Scott is indeed making 306,000 after being promoted to DC. Pulled that from the wrong spot.

well, that was depressing. it's impossible to take it all in without also getting the video of the team meeting post game to go with it, but on its own, it's depressing. i hope he and the players can get things going in the right direction and maybe give us some exciting ACC wins this season.

I expected to not get blown out by great teams on a regular basis

Is that only because we believe we have a lot of talent on this team? Great teams will blow us out because they're great and we aren't right now. If we're getting blown out by the BCs, Clemsons, and Georgia Techs of the ACC every game over the next two seasons, then I'll start to be concerned.

Thing is, since Buzz took over we aren't getting blown out by average to below average ACC teams, or mediocre out of conference teams. Our worst blowout loss factoring in strength of opponent is probably the 21 point loss to Clemson last year. Otherwise we've at least been competitive against similarly skilled opponents.

I have been at work and only managed to see Memphis was losing early on. I had to open a quick window when examining this post to see if maybe Memphis had some kind of come from behind miracle win that justified this joker wanting the game ball. Then it was... hmmm...I see Memphis lost...

To me, the story here is...YOU LOST THE GAME, JUNIOR!!!...WTF?!!!

It was a brutal game against a team that was clearly superior. Sometimes we need to cut him some slack so he can catch his breathe and thoughts. I'd rather see positive results on the court, and no press blah blah blah... Why does he need to be beat up by the press, after being pummeled by the other team?

It's kind of amazing how much this win means to WVU. They just beat a below .500 to flat .500 team by 25, and their fans are treating it as if they just beat Kentucky in the Sweet Sixteen (right, Daxter?).

I can't wait to see these guys in football in 2017 when Dana Holgorsen has been fired and the program is rebuilding or Dana's still there and the team is just average. The deadly combo of Fuente and Bud will be picking up steam the second year.

He did just finish an hour and 45 minute meeting with his players. I'm sure that conversation was emotionally exhausting and didn't have enough in him to be "energized" for a meeting with the press.

We have a long way to go before we become a decent ACC basketball team. I know it's just year 2 and the program is in a transient state but I expected to not get blown out by great teams on a regular basis. We have a lot of talent on this team, it's time for some of these guys to step up and become players who belong in the ACC.

Good clarification on Knihts of Ren. And having just rewatched Empire, Jedi training apparently isn't that long - appears Luke spent a 3 day weekend with Yoda before fighting Vader. Maybe Rey picked it up quick.

But Ren is like 25-30 yrs old. I still would have thought he'd have been doing this for 15-20 years more than the others.

I'll believe that Evans is bigger than Motley when the VT heights and weights come out in the spring.

If Evans is 6'4" then Brewer is 6'1", Dadi is 6'6" and McLaughlin is 6'9".
