I don't care if he tattoos a turd on his forehead. If he catches passes and blocks well, he will get paid.

Route running and blocking are the issues that will raise concerns with scouts. He didn't do himself any favors in both areas last night.

As one of those lucky ones who was able to experience the Beamer era from start to finish, I echo Michael Brewer in saying "I wouldn't trade it for anything!" Thank you Coach!

And lets give Stroman some credit, finding that forward gear was a thing of beauty (and a couple of nice defensive plays to boot).

Not a normal Beamer game.. but I think we saw a glimpse of things to come under Fuente. If Bud can tighten up the Defense (and I know he can), we will be stupid dangerous in the coming years.

At this point (24 hrs, 3 beers & 2 shots of corned whiskey later) who cares!? Dadi got sweet redemption, the team got the W and Beamer got sweet victory up the ass, baby and is dancing and laughing himself all the way to the bank and back. Do I still own, believe and stand by my convictions? You bet! But at this point, who really cares? We won! Beamer WON! Sweet VICTORY UP THE ASS, BABY (yea, I know, still on that)!!!

We won Frank's last game. That's all that will be remembered or that really matters

Even though he doesn't possess all of the measureables, he has the undeniable 100% heart and attitude of a winner.
What could be more Hokie than that?

Anybody else get the impression during Rey's interrogation, and the subsequent ability to "force" everything, that she got some sort of rebound from Ben, ala Harry/Snape occlumency session? She somehow saw inside his head, or received his power (ala Harry/Voldemort)?

After she shut her eyes she seemed to have figured out a lot about who he was ("you're alone" or whatever she said).

Yeah, good, tough QB, and with a little more size and strength, he could have been playing on Sundays.

Still, I can't help thinking that he jinxed himself at halftime of the Ohio State game when he was quoted as saying "it was going to take a lot more than that" to get him out of the game. Less than a quarter later, he was done with the broken collarbone.

Glad to see the Hokies win the last one for Frank, but seriously, that game should have never been close. Tulsa had to have been the worst tackling FBS team I have ever seen, especially in the first half, and we could have easily scored 60-70 in the first half alone if we attentively exploited the weaknesses of that D. I think in the second half, some of that poor D rubbed off on our guys, their D relearned the fine art of tackling, and we were playing on our heels. I know Tulsa had a highly-ranked offense and such, but they didn't strike me as being any kind of offensive powerhouse, being more like an average ACC team.

All things considered, that was a game we should win, and hopefully in the future we can put these kinds of opponents away long before they can get their act together in an attempt to make it a game.

"All I know is, what a football game," Beamer said. "It was exciting. First time I came to Shreveport, I left here a happy guy. Last time I came to Shreveport, I leave here a happy guy. I'm going to come back to Shreveport just for the hell of it."

I was curious to see if they would have any respect for CFB's last game (stupid on my part, I know) and I stopped by LeSabre for a minute. Besides getting a massive headache trying to navigate that place, all I saw was "they only beat Tulsa by 3?!," "too bad their trophy case is still empty," and "have fun going back to being irrelevant for the next year"

I guess they forgot that no one cares about UVA, even most Hoos.
