LOL, I am new around TKP but how much "going back and giving people cliffs notes" have you done since joining two weeks ago? Do you also post under another name (or another site) that I might go look at your body of work?
I wouldn't consider the article you referenced or most of your bullet points as provable facts. They may all be 100% accurate but hearsay nonetheless.
Doesn't seem to be a Sumlin thing based on a bunch of teammates taking shots at Kyler when he announced his transfer. The word "Entitled" was thrown around a lot, and "nobody cRes what you did in high school". Doesn't seem to surprise me.
While you're at it google Kevin tollivers parents. Watch any video. The mom and dad seem like nice people but I felt a little uncomfortable listening to the number of times they referred to themselves in the recuiting process.
I think you may be reading into something that may not be there.
They had a problem with a lot of programs.
Torrain has had endorsements from a lot of parents including the Fullers and Edmunds who have been cheerleaders for the coaching staff
I get what you are saying but if a highly touted recruit is on campus, I'm sure the coaches would at least say hi
The facts are from 247. I hate having to go back and give people cliff notes yet here we are.
Fact 1: Bruton was never offered, even though 757 is a priority. These two kids were wrapped up and delivered, by another on staff yet TG blew them off.
Fact 2: While offered we did not pursue Wayne Davis, read back to fact #1. They were locks.
Fact 3: Doing this burns bridges in the 757, at Lake Taylor. Hey guess where the 5th ranked player in the state is from next year?
Fact 4: if you have a 247 sub. Go read what went down with Tolliver this has been confirmed.
Fact 5: TG offered Clay Dean without talking to anyone else. Go watch his tape and honestly ask yourself if he is ACC quality. He is Willenbrock all over again.
Fact 6: Fireman said we shouldn't question the CD offer because TG puts people into the league. Yes he does, he puts DBs into the league, not DL. However to that point neither does Charley Wiles.
If any further clarification is needed about facts then by all means ask away.
How have you never see anything star wars before?! Did you intentionally try to avoid it when growing up?
I also really, really didn't like how Pilot Guy suddenly reappeared later in the movie. I thought the 'Oh, yeah, I'm fine, I was thrown from the wreckage, all good' kinda sucked.
agreed, I thought he was dead
There is a lot that goes into recruiting that we never see. Does he have the grades? Does Tech have his major? Does he want to play instate? Does he fit our culture? TG isn't Larry Coker just handing out offers to every player with a star rating. If a player has no interest in Tech, it just looks desperate to give out offers.
True but that has pretty much been ever present since the beginning of the series, from the design of the Imperial Uniforms, to the damn troop review in Attack of the Clones, but yes TFA cranks it up to 11.
Pretty sure they gave Hux a left over trench coat from Starship Troopers even, and that movie pretty much OOZED Fascist symbolism.
Yea...... I have a hard time imagining TG didn't say hello to a 5* recruit on a visit
Am I missing something? The facts you "brought to the table" is a thread about an article that some LSU beat writer wrote?
Here is the thing we both only know what others tell us. Neither you nor I are a part of the staff at VT and are not part of the recruits inner circle.

Lol someone is mad because he isn't right. I'm sorry. I'll leave the info above for anyone that wants to read it. And by all means if I post again and you don't like it because it has #sources just skip it and keep thinking you know everything, and I know nothing. Just keep posting your .gif's.
That was as of last Monday as well, so we should get more votes come tomorrow, plus three of the bottom 25 all lost this week so that can only help. Close out Radford and Furman like they should and this team will be 12-1, which is as many wins as they had last year. A healthy Magarity and the infusion of energy Chanette has brought to the point has really changed this team around.
What facts? You claim to know all this "inside info" guess what unless you were in the rooms with these kids or coaches you don't know anything more than anyone else behind a keyboard does. You think the coaches should be doing better then throw your name in the hat and get a job, they have plenty of staff positions in college football with all your knowledge you should be snatched up soon enough.
So I bring facts to the table, and you don't, you can't back your argument when I can.
So you pick up your ball and take it home cause you can't win. Good talk.

Really you honestly think that really happened? VT coaches have done plenty wrong but to assume they just didn't offer kids or didn't really try to recruit a kid or didn't bother to say hello is a joke and just you looking to find something to yell gotcha about.
I know I know our coaches do no wrong. It's not like TG has ever blown off a recruit. Oh wait.........

Yea you must be new to keeping track of recruiting.
Also in the world of recruiting websites one of these is not like the others. If you want to put money down on something Rivals spouts be my guest.

Awesome! Ladies sports have shown up big this year with soccer and basketball!
Absolutely. That was my point. Just because they are our coaches and good ones at that, does not mean they aren't wrong from time to time.
CD was an abysmal offer. Not offering Bruton and not going all out on Wayne Davis both from Lake Taylor is a monumental mistake. The problem is you say 757 is your #1 priority. Where the hell is Lake Taylor? 757. Two of the best DBs to come out of LT and you don't offer them? One goes to Temple the other to Ohio State. You guys can judge for yourselves if we messed up. Or if fireman is right and we shouldn't question some offers or lack thereof.
Ah, my brain definitely read that as "the three best."
Solid conclusion. But you left out the rather blatant Nazi imagery in the scene where the massed First Order stands before the General as he speechifies before using Starkiller.
So this is a direct quote from TFA Visual Dictionary which does a lot to fill in some of the blanks talked about here:
Peace Interrupted
After Years of Rebellion, the death of Emperor Palpatine gave the oppressed peoples of the galaxy undeniable evidence that the Empire could be defeated. A longing for freedom and peace drove a great tide of revolution from sector to sector, to the point where a truce - unthinkable at the height of the Galactic Civil War - was signed between the New Republic and the weakenend Empire. As one of its first acts, the restored Senate promptly passed the Military Disarmament Act. Many were convinced that the age of galaxy-wide conflict was over.
The New Republic
Following its great victory against the empire at the Battle of Endor, the Alliance to Restore the Republic rebranded itself as the New Republic, and shortly afterward a peace treaty - the Galactic Concordance - was signed with the remnants of the Empire. Believing that the Empire was no longer a threat, the New Republic turned its attention to reshaping galactic politics.
The First Order
The Galactic Concordance defanged the Empire's ability to wage war, with strict disarmament treaties and punishing reparations. The Old Empire withered away, becoming a remnant of political hardliners locked in a cold war with the New Republic, before eventually breaking away to reform in the Unknown Regions as the myseterious First Order.
The Resistance
The Resistance is a small private force created by Princess Leia Organa to keep watch on the movements of the First Order. Though she petitions the New Republic government for support, she finds the politics of the Senate too slow and too mixed in self-interest to be of any help. The New Republic tolerates the Resistance, though it is wary of risking war with the First Order.

So this is interesting very much gives the feel of Europe and the US between the world wars but you know, in SPACE. With the desire to avoid conflict, arms control treaties, rising extremists from the old order, small vocal minority leading the fight while trying to get a larger neutral power into the fight.
This makes things a little more interesting. I had no idea he had already visited. If he is trolling, he better be careful to not burn down his current bridges, I can't imagine the coaches at FSU are all to pleased to be seeing some of this.

When the offers that go out don't bring in enough kids to fit the scheme of a coach putting guys into the NFL every year then I'll worry. My resume doesn't have that on it does yours?
