I wonder how these JUCO guys affect the graduation rate? Are they only on scholarship for two years to complete their 4 year degree? Hopefully all or most of their credits transfer but that's not always the case, right?
I agree with all of this. Additionally, the saddest part of our recent decline over the last 4 years is that most of our losses have come at the hands of some bad, average, and okay teams. The Coastal has been as weak as it's ever been during our decline, which makes it all the more frustrating.
Well, once I get that HTML doohickey working, my posts will become trilingual.
That was probably what I disliked the most. I threw my hands up when they went with the cop-out.
I do think that The Force guided the lightsaber to Rey and back to Luke in the same way that the Ring in Lord of the Rings has some measure of autonomy. I just want them to explain it.
Seems hard to believe, doesn't it?
Am 29 and scared for the disappearing Google skillz barrier that is 30 :(
I am all about your edit. A friend of mine tried to tell me it didn't matter how they got it. Bullshit. That thing got sent to the bottom of the biggest building on bespin with Luke's hand still attached. How the hell does that get recovered??
I'm gonna be honest, I think I would take both a Kentucky Basketball and a Cam Newton scenario...
Question: When they say a 2/3 star recruit, but 26 JUCO player, is the star ranking the initial rating they had out of HS? If so, then a 2/3 star recruit out of HS would probably be a 4-star out of JUCO right?
Ditto. You said my thoughts on this well. A couple of plug and play studs won't hurt the team as a long as we continue to recruit and build depth the correct way. If the theme becomes to constantly recruit from Juco then I might begin to worry about his methods.
But like the Loeffler experiment, we need to give the new coach time to develop his system and players.
The other 8 coaches could tell him.
My biggest gripe was Kylo Ren taking the helmet off so early in the movie. I think it would have been more dramatic if they waited until the bridge scene to do that reveal. It was also way too easy to figure out who he was early in the movie, all it took was the comment about his family.
There are a couple of other nit picky things I could say. I definitely want to learn more about Snoke and Kylo Ren's fall in the next movie. That's what's bugging me the most, but overall I was very happy with the movie.
Edit: They better explain where Maz got that lightstaber in episode 8 or 9.
IT was a good movie, very star wars and definitely much better than the prequels. But the plot felt very thin, and felt like a rehash of previous films
I think it was a very entertaining stand-alone film, but I think we'll also look back on it after Episodes VII and IX as an extremely important link between the "old generation" (Luke, Leia, Han, etc.) and the"new generation (Rey, Finn, Poe, etc.)
I know I've mentioned this before but it really puts a crimp in my craw that he wasn't given more consideration for the Pro Bowl (bastards).
I don't believe 4.38 either. How many grown men run 4.38 at the NFL combine after specifically trying to peak their 40 time for that event?
Yea, I couldn't believe the mass exodus either. In my eyes, it was completely disrespectful and I completely agree with you
I've seen Bills fan call him Tygod, first time I've seen him called that.

# | QB Jerod Evans Sees Situation at Tech That's "Almost Too Good to be True," Picks the Hokies I think you're underestimating the ego's that most coaches have and how hard it may be to objectively say who is "better."
1) It's hyperbole.
2) He averaged a whopping 4 yards/return. That was 54th out of 59th for qualified returners.
3) I have a feeling he had more returns for negative yards than he did for 20+ yards.
4) If no one is blocked, call for a fair catch rather than catch it and run backwards and put a bad offense in even worse shape.

Another key player to make McMillian's life easier, hopefully good pass rush blocking. Our current o-line, even though they played hard, was very inconsistent and relatively effective. Our QB were to frequently getting punished by teams we should have been able to handle.
Looks like possibly brighter day ahead
