Yep, but it was around 50th last week. So moving in the right direction for sure.
Not 26th. 36th.
I'll believe this Fuente guy is a good recruiter once I see him sign a good player instead of these lowly 3 and 4 stars.

If this comes true imma track you down and call you a genius prophet. Daggon it im so amped for next year.

Calling it now. We crack the top 20 by signing day.
Thats sexy
"Dead period."

He makes that brick wall look small and feeble.
i like going the JUCO route to fill in the gaps of need; and beating out the SEC for the same recruits, too? Win-Win
I understand where you are coming from. I don't think you'll see VT go JUCO for QBs often. Find holes, fill holes, develop talent. As far as OL, they are so hit-or-miss that I don't see the downside of supplementing w/ some JUCO's.
Tom Herman's first QB at Houston was a JUCO kid from the same school, and Brewer was a transfer himself. We have quite a few young OL I can't wait to see developed.
It's wild how quickly the concerns about recruiting have changed, for the good.

This. I agree, if you only rely on JUCO kids, there can be problems. But behind Jerod Evans stands Dwayne Lawson with 3 years of eligibility and Joshua Jackson with 4.
If we win a national championship like Auburn did, I will be happy to languish until we find the next guy.
That's so Musky.
The problem is that's it's hard to tell what you have in Motley. He was a relatively unrecruited Wing-T QB. His on field performance was admirable, but I don't think you instantly say, "yeah that guy's my starter".
Don't look now but our recruiting ranking has shot up to 26th according to 247. Fuente basically cut it in half in the span of 2 weeks.
I think we are having our cake and eating it, too. We are securing those guys who are going to step in and play immediately and contribute and then we are also getting in those guys who aren't going to be ready right away but in a couple years week be able to step in and be playmakers.
It's like signing Cam Newton who is ready now and at the same time signing a Deshaun Watson, who will need a couple years to be ready. You're making sure the present and future are accounted for in the same swoop.
Looks to be

Do we know if he's a January enrollee?

He's the guy who said the famous quote about Druckenmiller: "He's stronger than train smoke"
Classic Musky

I have seen very little to suggest Lawson should move past Motley on the depth chart.
I'll be perfectly happy with whomever wins the battle, but I think Motley and Evans are probably going to be neck & neck.
