Great way to start the day!
Need to pair him beside Tim Settle, who could run thru that?
Yet look at the number of kids VT offers that then blow up with offers.

# | QB Jerod Evans Sees Situation at Tech That's "Almost Too Good to be True," Picks the Hokies I may not be close enough to the program to make this assessment but here goes. There's a reason that Lawson hasn't made the grade and it seems to me from the things I've read (and the things I've read into the things I've read) it's not his athletic ability but more his attitude. i get the feeling he has an expectation to be given preferential treatment because of his ability and he doesn't get its about so much more. Aptitude and attitude are very very important and I just get the feeling he may not have those two at the same level of his athleticism.
I was a TexMaker user myself.
I thought Jimmie Taylor was recruited as a DE.
It's actually a much better indictator than stars about how talented a player is. TSL has several articles about this that I read and agree with; I'd rather offer a 3-star that has 20+ offers thana 4-star that has 2.
EDITT: That being said, OL is one of the hardest areas to project, so you take it with a grain of salt.

I find it rather hilarious that they highlighting him on Hudl. Yeah, like that gigantic @ss sticking out of the line could belong to anyone else. Dude doesn't exactly hide on the field.
6'8" 320... That's how you get the day started!! #Sandman16โ Thomas Guerry (@thomasguerry) December 15, 2015
After watching that tape I'm like

6'-8", 320 lbs, There is no doubt he will make a GREAT TE!
My memory is that he was listed by the services as - and recruited by VT as - both a RB and a LB. To some degree circumstances pushed him to the offensive side. What I don't know - and don't know that anyone outside of a small circle knows - is whether Edmunds had a preference once he got to VT.
No stars? Fuente will make him a superstar!
I hear that he can really get after it.
ACC to ACC transfer would be at least a 2 year sit. And I doubt we would grant his release to one of our biggest rivals.
He doesn't play against great competition and plays for a bad team. On top of that, he was a late bloomer and doesn't do much pass protection. It'll take a few years for him to develop, but he could be a heck of a player.
I don't know which game had more rain. This one or the BC Thurs night.
I like how you didn't list uva as a major offer
"Jackson MORE than meets the eye"?! How much more of him can there be?
Especially this year but in general we and fans everywhere need to stop worrying about who else offered a kid.
Lawson Commited to Miami but then saw how good Kayya was and realized he was 3 years out from starting so the Hokies QB issues were real appealing for no red-shirt and lots of game time. Granted the Coaching has now changed but if Lawson isn't the starter I'm wondering if he doesnt transfer to Miami and sit one year on his redshirt then get the starting job in 2017, at Miami or another school.
Here's a local article on the kid. Sounds awesome.

With where the program was, and where it was trending to, and the master AD doing his part I've been expecting it. To say that Whit couldn't hire a coach that could do this is, well, exactly why we brought Whit in

Right? I read this article and then passed out from happiness
