He's wild at times. He's gonna turn the ball over. He's gonna drive us crazy, but he's also gonna pull things out his you know what and win us some ball games down the road. He doesn't shy away from the moment.

Wait, Michael Brewer? I thought we were talking about basketball!

Given the recent news that Mike London is now on staff at UMd, which shares two very important recruiting areas, I believe that it is imperative that we either retain Stinespring as a position coach or move him to director of recruiting. We cannot ignore the coaching upgrades/changes that have occurred to all the FBS programs along the East Coast, but especially in the Mid Atlantic region.

One out of the box idea, get/hire Ruffin McNeill for the open Defensive Coaching position. He was a former DC, former HC and knows the area.

If we are not going to retain Stinespring for recruiting purposes, then we need someone either on the football staff or support staff with strong recruiting ties to the Mid Atlantic region.

I really hope the news about retaining WR Coach Burden is true. He was brought on board to improve our recruiting efforts in the 757.

IMO, Shibest will stay on Special Teams. Wiggins I think will be at RB and Burden retained at WR (as per Guitarman's post above). Stiney may be on team but moved up to Recruiting Coordinator unless he takes job elsewhere. He could go for FBS level HC gig.

The main reason it was so important for Frank to win the state is he spent the majority of his recruiting budget there, and he had his best HS relationships there.

That said, JF made it clear at the presser that VA is his priority.

Great work boys! You stuck it to Radford, and now as every guy knows when you stick things in Radford, go get your antibiotics.

Allen is frustrating to watch. Was at Maryland when he was there, but he's our best player offensively. You may say Bibbs, you may say Hudson, and that's fine, I'll listen to the argument, but when the game is on the line, and we need a basket, I want it in #4 hands. Throw at me what happened to Northwestern. Yes. I get it. He's wild at times. He's gonna turn the ball over. He's gonna drive us crazy, but he's also gonna pull things out his you know what and win us some ball games down the road. He doesn't shy away from the moment.

IMO that is a bad angle had the picture been taken on either side of the of the top of the East stands then I may have been tempted to purchase, also it looks to be an Orange effect picture and I am a Maroon effect kind of guy.

I got one of those last year, during a similar deal on Woot. In the middle of the night this football season, it fell off the wall and startled me awake. This was around when VT was 3-5. I will keep it off the wall until this season is the books, because that seemed to be an omen.
