Not only is Logic one of the most talented rappers out there and that his message is very positive, but Rhetorik is an alum, he's not just wearing the shirt, he's showing some of the really cool things you can do with a degree from Virginia Tech
This is why coaches polls are rarely unanimous. I could see Marquise Williams garnering a first-place vote. It's all totally subjective.
Good for him!
Don't care until he's signs an LOI w/ the good guys.
So who voted for Watson to not be first team? He got 37 total votes Boyd got 39 and Cook got 38, that means a coach didn't think he was the best QB in the ACC this year. I find that hard to believe.
I now see I got my post up a touch later, my bad. Was trying to get a quote from the article in.
Those are point values, not vote totals. The POY categories are one vote per coach. The first, second, and third teams come down to points per vote. First team ballot = 3, second = 2, third = 1, IIRC. 13 eligible coaches x 3 points for first team = 39 points.

I know some alumni that are pissed. A good friend of mine has a graduate degree from UNC, one he worked very hard for. To see the reputation of UNC be tarnished in this way made him very angry. He got a fundraising phone call from the school and he told them UNC wouldn't get a dime from him until the mess was cleaned up.
Then how did Boyd end up with more first place votes if his coach can't vote for him either? And Dalvin Cook?
I was actually surprised he didn't receive an Honorable Mention after Maddy got one last year, but then again, Fuller didn't look good in his 3 games and people will only remember him being burned by Michael Thomas.
Should be noted he is a 2017 guy not this recruiting cycle (2016).
EDIT: I am wrong looks like he could be reclassifying.

Also, he is Tywin Lannister.

Student loan payback is an interesting one - currently non-technical degrees (e.g., arts & sciences) have a much higher default rate than technical degrees (e.g., engineering, business). Given the mix of majors between the two universities, I can see that being a big factor.
There is a set of people who are trying to adjust student loan interest rates based upon degree pursued - similar to the credit ratings / appraisals completed for traditional loans. Engineers and Accountants tend to pay off their student debt a lot faster - possibly due to them getting jobs immediately after school and not pursuing graduate degrees that incur higher debt.
This could be huge!!! Scout.com is reporting he is reclassifying to the 2016 class. If he really decommits to FSU and commits to VT, talk about hitting the recruiting trail running.

"[I will] early enroll or leave with the 2016 class," Matthews said.
Matthews would be able to do so because he's currently being homeschooled.
"I'm actually home schooled so I get my credits out the way," Matthews said. "I have like three credits left."
If Matthews can reclassify he won't find out till late in the 2016 recruiting cycle.
"Probably late January when I get done with my classes," Matthews said.
Seriously. It's spelled Brandon Facyson. There seems to be some confusion out there about that.
Kendall Fuller should be first team defense, ipso facto.
If this is about players that had the greatest impact, he fits the bill.
how is it that every student and alumni isn't up in arms about this? They basically cheapened the value of their degrees
#FSUTwitter could help make his decision easier. I can only imagine the tweets he got when he tweeted the VT stuff.
Dabo Sweeney because he couldn't vote for his own player.
Don't know if it's dead, but he certainly didn't achieve much with the talent he got. That has to put a damper on that pipeline.
Just noticed on one of his tweets, a guy replied to him asking "what happened to reclassifying." He responded with a wink emoji.
Could we be seeing a 2016 Hokie WR commit today? Me thinks so.
EDIT: The wink was in response to something else. Twitter has fooled me. But still doesn't mean he won't reclassify.
Came here to say the same thing. I thought it was odd.

Not anymore anyways, I lived on the ESVA for about 7 years before moving down here to the OBX. Once I moved away, there truly was nothing exciting left out there.
Good seafood, good fishing, Chincoteague & Assateague Islands, Ocean City, Evolution Brewing in Salisbury, great kayaking/paddling board...i think I just named everything good about Delmarva
