I forsee a lot of getting off of lawns directed from some of the more experienced alumni in future months...
Hopefully our defensive recruiting will see some uptick as well.
Penn State and Alabama are two of the strongest, most valuable brands in college football. They both recruit fine. Not much to gripe about there. Maybe your comment was /s?

A big part of this is that VMI for about ten straight years was listed in the Top Five Highest Percentage of Graduates to obtain Graduate degrees in the nation.
As far as I can tell the only restrictions are on JUCO's that aren't academic qualifiers. If they JUCO for other reasons then there is no limit.
I respectfully disagree with that. Some of these young guys want to know which fan base would want them the most, and one of the ways to do that is to see what kind of reaction they will get from posts similar to this one. It's a different day and age of recruiting where even us average Joe's can get involved.
That being said, I agree it is completely unnecessary, and out of line to be tweeting at these kids.
I don't see Whit making any big splashes coaching-wise if Wolff is making traction. Significant capital improvements are queued up for VT athletics and I think that will be the major focus moving forward.
Hearing Wolff speak a few times over the years, women's basketball is a tough business. Similar to Buzz's philosophy that there are only so many players good enough to play D-1, but a lot more openings and teams that can fill these scholarships; they get on these recruits early. By the way, Wolff is a no-nonsense, hard nosed, New Yorker that is worth listening to if you have the opportunity.
Get used to it. This is the kind of recruit who will show interest in us once Fuente gets our offense going.
I could care less between 4 stars and 5. I'd like another highly-rated WR to go with Lawson, please.
Time to start Facyson the music.
It was stated in an earlier thread, but next year's team won't be your daddy's Hokies in any way shape or form (except for LPD).
Yeah, Maryland is a really tough sell unless a recruit is living in Maryland. It just doesn't have the same appeal that Tech does. If you take a look at their current roster, it's almost completely players form Maryland and Pennsylvania with a handful from VA.
At least someone from VT can represent on national television
/sarcasm pls don't downvote pls
Who could've guessed VMI was so high? 15th in the Nation
Personally, I hope we ditch the Navy helmets after this year.
This thread was Taylor made for cleverness
now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go tend to my cold with some Vick's rub
If the kids like them, I'll like them. If it get big recruits to come I'll LOVE them.
This tweet preceded the OP tweet by 5 minutes. Wonder if he was thinking "I could see myself at VT" after seeing his name on #BlackUni?
Kid is a state champion and from the tweets was a major contributor in the title game.
Anyone else read this thread over and over again?
"4 star FSU recruit"..."#2 WR in nation"..."Isaiah Ford connection"...
I know this recruiting show is just leaving the station, but ...gracious!
It is starting for me. Can't help myself.

O_o
It works out for the best source: me
It's very common for early commits to start flipping once they've looked around and done more research.
something something not committed to SEC school therefore no 5th * for him
Something something Nnadi.
The #2 WR in the nation is a 4 star?
Usually, I do something along these lines. Wrap in plastic bag, either a gallon sized or two depending on size of bottle or a grocery bag to try to contain any spills, and then wrap in socks or undershirts for padding. Place in the dead center of your bag, with stuff underneath and on top of it, so that when the baggage folks toss your bag around, they have less of a chance of breaking.
Kendall this thread get any Fuller?
