I personally would like to see a VERY fresh face. I hear bits and pieces of the integration of technology into the HNFE world that we may or may not already be utilizing. We're already leading the way in football helmet research, it would be nice if we started getting a rep for advance fitness tools.

Burden is a good coach and is relatable to recruits, hes young, seems humble, cares about the kids.
But I wouldnt want to forget Mooreheads efforts, I would say he brought in the best Receiving class, but time will tell, if they can lock up these kids, and they pan-out, there is an argument for sure.

I think Lefty really needed a run-game coordinator and he lost that when Grimes left and that was never recouped.

Thank YOUU!! Everyone wants to rag on Shane for the rotation but very few want to credit him for the advancement of a redshirt freshman QB turned a near milestone RB (wont jinx him).
Don't we have two assistants who used to play here? Shouldn't they be rewarded for all they've put in? Jarrett Ferguson and Ryan Shuman? You think either of them may get the nod to move up? Both are young and may offer the "fresh" perspective fans here seem to want.

So, more comfortable seating, less of it, need donations to do it, will cost more to attend games.
And the problem that we're trying to solve is game attendance.
So I guess it depends on if you think you'll raise attendance if you charge more but provide more comfortable seating.

this is backwards. premium seats do bring revenue. Not having premium seats is loss of revenue and opportunity. What you should be considering is doing the Color Seats and Loge Boxes before the Suite if you wanted to be conservative about it.
It's about fan experience. If you cut the number of seats, you'll be excluding fans from some of the more exciting games that I anticipate will be coming in the next few years.
things are always better when you are winning. I see this being said a lot. We just need to win and it will be better. But when you plan for these large facilities the economics are not based on the highs when the team is winning, it is based on the lows when the team is not winning consistently. This is how the economics are planned worldwide. As such, having premium seating isn't just a good idea, it's necessary because when the team is on the down the hard core donors and fans will pay a little bit extra for those color seats and loge boxes and that will cover shortfall. yes, you will lose seats but the venue will look more full and attract more donor dollars which in opportunity cost exceed what you get from tickets. From the marketing stand point this is about basic supply and demand. Less seats mean a) higher demand and b) the appearance of being more full when we are not a good team, which brings you back to the economics whereby you plan for the low side economics not the upside economics.
Also, what is the opportunity cost in terms of the raucous atmosphere we want in Lane for those Duke and UNC games?
It's an enclosed basketball arena. There won't be any loss to raucousness. Also by doing as I indicated above you give those that want and are willing to pay for premium seating options, whilst clearing the entire courtside for raucous students to lose their shit.
I'm hesitant to remove 1/5 of the seats for some luxury boxes

I'm not even certain the passing game is too complex. Brewer's struggles in passing seemed to be almost entirely arm related. He could usually find the open man (and there was almost always an open man, a testament to the passing design) but he couldn't always deliver the ball on time and on target. The problem, in my mind, is that there was not equal dedication to designing and sustaining a run game. Lefty was all about creating and exploiting a mismatch in the passing game, but I never saw that happen in the run game.
The best thing I can say about Lefty in the run game is his full embrace of the removal of the "no pushing the runner" rule. It's obvious that Lefty and Searels coached the offense, specifically the OL, to always respond when they see our ball carrier get stood up. The instinct of all our OL is the surge ahead behind our back and drive the pile forward. This was best evidenced against UVA since it went for like ten yards, but they've been doing it all season. And kudos to Lefty and Searels for understanding that he rule change allowed for us to almost always pick up extra yards. But that's really more of an attitude, not a specific design of the running game. I think it will benefit Fuente, because unless explicitly instructed otherwise, our OL will continue to push the runner forward in a scrum. But as far as actually designing a running game to complement the passing attack, Lefty fell short.
