Best part about this hire he isn't leaving BYU until AFTER the bowl game. LOLUVA recruiting just took a shot.
Edit: BYU is playing in Las Vegas Bowl game on the 19th so the earliest he would be at LOLUVA is the 20th and that's a fast turnaround. The dead period starts soon after that. So Mendhall will have to hope the current coaching staff who don't know if he is keeping them keeps their recruits committed. Until he can talk to them in Jan just before signing day.
