Great idea. The men's tennis coach, Jim Thompson, was born and raised in Marion, Virginia just an hour down the road from B'burg. He and his family are good friends of mine. He is a pleasant, engaging young man that you will enjoy talking to.
I am a long time tennis player and fan tho knees and feet have turned me to golf. I have a picture of my dad with the Tech 1914-15 tennis team that he was on. Will gladly share with you for this topic, if only I knew how to do it.

I don't know why but I had to leg this...
I played tennis up through 25 when I started having shoulder surgeries, I don't follow as much as I used too since we have not had any really good Americans since Agassi retired (Roddick and Isner just never reached their potential). I have never followed college tennis but I would be willing to listen up so go for it!

I'm sure someone will argue this but on paper the ACC as a whole made some huge steps forward this offseason, especially if the Dino Babers Syracuse rumors are true. I'm not sure on paper there was a bad hire this offseason
Ruffin McNiell was 5-4 against P5 the past 3 seasons. Just don't look at his first 3 seasons (1-8). Tom Herman is 2-0. Fuente was 2-0 this year and 0-4 his previous 3 years.
Dang and like Coach Beamer, McNeill both coached and played football at their respective alma maters. Literally the only logical explanation for this would be that some big name guy is negotiating behind closed doors. This made absolutely no sense if not.
And don't forget to throw in there that Cornelsen, our future OC, was a Broyles award finalist nominee this year too. Didn't see myself being about to say that about a VT OC... ummm... maybe ever!

Might as well include his record as G5, BYU was in the Mountain West for most of his coaching tenure there
