Also, this seems to be one of the most lack-luster championship weekends that I can remember. I mean some games may turn out to be good but for all intensive purposes everyone expects Bama to crush Florida, Clemson to beat UNC and Michigan St to beat Iowa. In each championship game one team has wins over tough ranked opponents and the others seem to have much weaker schedules. Houston Temple and Stanford USC may be the most exciting games match-up wise. But even Stanford USC still seems only ok to me. I'll watch the game but right now I'm looking at it like "ehhh"
*I say this without looking at anything and from what I can remember of the season.*

So Clemson really needs to step up.

Like they said, we play Liberty in week 1.
After that game, with regards to Tennessee:

Insightful posts like this are among my favorites to read on TKP. Well done, Sir.
5. This is a very solid point. If Bud's defense has a lead at their back, I reckon we see more sacks, pressure and forced mistakes.
6. The cupboard is stocked to an extent. Getting Brewer's replacement up to speed will be paramount. It's fortunate all three of Tech's quarterbacks will be here for spring ball (provided there's no attrition and Josh Jackson enrolls). Until the new receivers show they can play, depth there is very worrisome. The loss of Ryan Malleck can't be understated. However, Virginia Tech returns a bunch of scary, seasoned, skill talent. And hopefully the offensive line can continue to get better under Vance Vice. I am plenty worried about the d-line next season, more so at d-end than d-tackle. Who is going to play next to Ekanem? It's probably Trevon Hill if he's healthy, but who's playing behind them... It would be terrific if Settle absolutely dominates spring practice, but I'm holding my breath until I see updated weights.
He was definitely on the field during the UVA game. Almost positive he was there in the 4th quarter which means Bud reallt trusts him.
so close to 38-0
apparently the writing has been on the wall for Fuente a long time.....God works in mysterious ways.....
I don't know, Billy Berlin tops my list.
With a name like Bronco, perhaps he can finally teach Cavman how to ride a horse.
UVA med school is working hard researching a cure for their Richt-al dysfunction problem.
Would be cool to see more JF players at VT. Is the knock on Navy Jones he's too small?

We came out of this clear winners in the coaching roulette this year, and you could make a great case for us being clear winners nationally.
Ain't scared of what the others did. We get rolling, they won't be able to keep up.
He coached at Blacksburg High School but didn't have a role in the VT atheltic dept? Is there a reason why?
Took the 60 bus out of downtown Campbell. . .
This is a decent hire for UVa. Not a homerun, but decent. He has done pretty well at BYU, but wasn't one of the G5 coaches that have made a big splash on the national scene. BYU is an odd place to hire a coach from, as it is a unique situation.
I dont see Mendenhall as being a big threat to us recruiting wise, I could be wrong, but coming from BYU to UVA will be a totally different story. He will probably do a decent job recruiting, but I dont see him having the London/Groh effect on recruits.
Wow, yeah, this is a great idea. Someone get him on the phone
Damn damn damn.
Bronco appears to have gotten this job on purpose.

IDK, I think Iowa has a shot, and the UNC/Clemson game should be entertaining at least
