Eh, that might be a bit harsh. Keep in mind, he didn't hear a darn thing from VT for a solid month. On the other hand, Pitt has been pushing hard. Also keep in mind, while we're all excited and optimistic, Fuente has won zero games as the head coach of VT. He can tell recruits his vision, but he's got a ton of ground to make up. On the other hand, Narduzzi can show them just how close they were to winning the Coastal despite some devastating injuries during his first year, when no one gave them a chance. There's some solid evidence right now that Pitt can be a contender, while VT still doesn't even have a full staff at this point.
There's still quite a bit of time before signing day, and I wouldn't have announced now given the circumstances, but I won't fault the kid for making the decision he did when he made it.
Hmmm except the coordinator is an assistant coach. At least historically has been. Is that not a requirement?

I was just thinking this exact thing. I think Fedora bolts eventually anyways so I think the success at UNC, although impressive right now, is short lived.

# | Hokies Can't Quite Get Over the Hump, Fall to Northwestern 81-79 in Overtime My feeling is that he was kinda forced to be that guy and take over games last year and be aggressive. That's why we're all expecting that from him but in reality he is much more comfortable being more of a pure shooter from the wings and corners. Which I'm fine with, especially how well we've been getting to the line as a team and how well Bibbs has been stroking it from three.
