They are 1 win better and obviously would have just as many fans there as VT would.
Was surprised that NC State averages attendance numbers less than 1000 people/game below ours. Pretty solid fanbase there!
"Therefore, since brevity is the soul of wit,
And tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes,
I will be brief: your noble son is mad:
Mad call I it; for, to define true madness,
What is't but to be nothing else but mad?
But let that go.
More matter, with less art."
-William Shakespeare, "Hamlet"
So you wanted us to go heavy? Why? We were at our best spreading the defense out and dictating where they could and could not commit numbers. His use of Malleck, Hodges, Ford, Philips, and Travon down the stretch shows me that he wasn't just a "system" guy, but used his players pretty effectively. Now, the rest of the offense outside of those players... not so great. Still, I'm excited that Fuente knows he has to adapt his offense to his players, I just don't see at all how that's different from what we've seen. This isn't GT or Oregon (anyone else remember Blount running sideways in 2009?) or anything like that.
One of these babies to coincide with the excitement Isaiah creates on the field

It's a joint effort, the bowls AND the ACC meet to place the teams, bowl reps still have a voice.
As long as Auburn doesn't go to the Belk Bowl, I'd love to see VT vs. SEC in the Belk Bowl. Would be a fun destination.
I see now. Not sure where our current salaries for those positions fall so hard to say whether it is an increased effort in recruiting. Also, I'm not sure what else you are wanting with regards to staff for recruiting.

Artavis getting more votes than Isaiah Ford is a joke. He's not even a true receiver. Deon Cain is the best true receiver playing for Clemson right now.
In his career at #Clemson, Artavis Scott has 1,040 receiving yards — 1,011 of which came AFTER the catch.— David Hale (@DavidHaleESPN) September 11, 2015
From september but still used mostly in this role. Deadly with the ball in his hands, but has obvious need for improvement in route running, and I guess playing the ball downfield because there is no reason he shouldn't be a dynamic deep threat with his physical skill set.
See: other threads.
A lot of really good punters in the ACC.
He sounds like a Ford kind of guy...
Ford has almost as many yards this season and has 6 more TDs.
This is exactly why I hate any type of player awards in college football. Just call every superlative what they really are, popularity contests.
nevermind...
Read further down, there is 420k set aside for a recruiting coordinator, strength and conditioning, video, and director of operations
Yummy double post! Here's a bathtub cat instead.

We're waiting for Hughes' name to fall down - so much hangtime.
My question: is he bringing any players with him from Memphis that could really help us out???
This is for his assistant coaches. Support staff is different.

I never saw all three TEs on the field together. Better yet, I never saw us go heavy with 3TEs and Rogers, which is easily the biggest mis-match 3rd-and-short formation. (Run with 4 extra blockers or flex out to 4 receivers and dare those big defenders to run with us.) As much as I remain on the "it ain't Lefty's fault" -the Oline has problems after repeated coaching swaps and recruiting misses -the RB rotation is a retard fucking a merry-go-round, etc; he did not attempt to use his players...his player, sure (Mr. Brewer, a tough S-o-B if ever there was one), but players...no.
Dang, no dental insurance? Counterpoint: all fees paid at the Blacksburg Country Club.
What kinda car do you guys think Fuente gets? He seems like a Nissan Maxima kinda guy. But I guess it's all dependent on who VT contracts with. Berglund?
It was the "doctor. Doctor." scene from Spies Like Us. Admit it.
There has to be a reason he isn't the top vote getter right?
Probably because we're 6-6 and his name isn't as well known. Not that the reasoning is valid, but that's how these things usually work.

The bowls have a say too - it is a joint effort. Money is the main factor in all of it and I don't think that the ACC is worried about a matchup for next season.
Edit: of course a fireman beats me to a post.
