I love how hard this team is playing against an 0-5 team. Very, very pleased.
It's certainly possible that Houston's Herman, who is 10-1 in his first season as a head coach, will simply take the best job available. But his agent, Trace Armstrong, has let it be known that Herman's best option may be to stay at Houston and wait for the perfect job to come along. That's especially true now that Houston is willing to pay $3 million per year to keep him.
Looks like Herman isn't in the market for just any job. The Fuente hire makes more and more sense every day.
Joe with all this smoke coming from so many directions are you hearing anything on the ground yourself?
I like the amount of time that Wilson is getting. I'm really concerned about the amount of time Big Satch is getting.
That's how I read it. The question being, who is the #sauce for HokieHaven....
At risk of sounding incredibly stupid... Is waiting to see what happens with Les Miles completely out of the question? Would he not be interested in the VT job?
True that fellow Hokie. It really is an end of an era for Virginia Tech.
I love Clarke's energy too. It's certainly helping full the void from Hill being out.
Leday is a show. I am not sure how he only managed so little playing for South Florida. Must have either seen significant development with Buzz or just wasn't used properly before. His touch around the basket is amazing.
A.) Our current uniforms are retro.
B.) They don't order new uniforms midseason.
Still not impressed with Allen, sad to say I trust Robinson way more but its true. Allen is too much of a wild card.
According to our on-line partner HokieHaven.com, long time Virginia Tech Defensive coordinator Bud Foster is a candidate for the Illinois head coaching position.
So are they the only #sauce?
It's basically the same schedule and "intense" rivalries that saw attendance down about 5% in 2014 from 2013. Replacing W&M with Liberty brings in maybe an additional 5k fans?
I just want to say that from my seat in the stands it appeared that Edmunds 22 had a monster game. He made several huge pass break ups. I was very impressed with his play. Also, what has happened to Alexander? He was playing great, but I haven't heard much about him lately and only noticed him in the field a handful of times on Saturday, is he hurt?
The OOC games next year include Tennessee & Notre Dame. Unfortunately you can't play all OOC opponents people want to see at home if you want to have any chance of success.
I hope that's not true, but if it is it kinda feels like Pierce is the odd man out. I don't want to lose a 7 footer because we will need him in ACC play, but it feels like he's in Buzz's doghouse right now.
Illinois. This Bud's not for you.
If I'm Bud and don't get the HC job, of course I leave. I personally am of the the mind that Bud Foster has earned the chance. It would make me so sad to see him wearing another school's colors (UVA colors at that).
Alum is right, if he leaves he leaves, but damnit the man has stayed loyal while carrying this program. I'm confident Whit will do what's best for the team, but stories like this just drive home the fact that this truly is the end of an era.
Whit would be looking for another dream job...
Hate to speculate but Buzz is still recruiting for this years class amongst AAU so I have to think he must anticipate some guys leaving. Have to think Hudson, Pierce and possibly Devin depending on how things shake out at the point guard spot, would be the top of that list right now. The only scholarship open, for Henry graduating, has already been committed to by Khadim Sy from Oak Hill.
Uh, okay.
It is what it is. He's been a candidate before but hasn't played out.
I'm hoping Seth Allen gets his act together before ACC play. Not impressed so far.
I love my apple tv. Watching this game on the big screen! LeDay and Clarke are huge gets for us!

Yes. He's old, would cost us a boatload of money, and he hasn't had the offensive track record at LSU that we're looking for.
