IMO, I believe we should plan on playing every freshman if they could help us win a game. If they come in with an injury and need to rehab, redshirt them. But IMO if they can help us win even by just playing in the fourth quarter, play them. These kids are in school year round so they have more than enough time to get a degree. So in short, if they can help the team win one game I'm all for it!
THat's just Beautiful Man..............
Are our results being logged anywhere?

I would say movement period is challenged. May say he is "movement challenged" but a good placeholder~
I wouldn't necessarily mind them being the primary away game helmet and classic maroon lids for home games.

Happy picking against the spread, you guys. Results for the first two weeks will be up soon, I promise.
Also not a great scientist. See, I would have convinced someone else to pull the lever and observe the consequences like a true scientist :p
I was a marketing major.
The first rule of marketing is: "any publicity is good publicity."
Here's the running back hurdling the line in last week's game:

I Conte think of a good way to explain this to a non -TKPer. Maybe something will Click.

Where's the guy with the "it's science" gif?
So to sum up (if I read it correctly):
Urban Meyer (at a top ten recruiting school) prefers his players be ready to play as true freshman and is disappointed when they aren't ready. But otherwise he is willing to redshirt.
Charlie Strong (at a top ten recruiting school) will play a freshman over an upperclassman IF they are 50/50 at the mid-point of the season. But otherwise he is willing to redshirt.
That's a couple of really gutsy stances on the issue that are sure to change how people view redshirting...
Fashion statements? I going over to the Victoria Secrets sight.
I have supported in the past, though it was probably two years ago which means I'm due for another. I'm aware of the revenue issue with AdBlock, which is why I am trying to get by without it.
Thanks for looking into it again, Joe!
Top looks like an eagle flew over and crapped on everyone.
I'd kill for an all maroon jersey with white numbers on the front and back and the orange ones on the shoulder. Simple, clean, classic VT
I am Jealous! Teller's cousin:
They will wear the military appreciation helmets a couple more times this year per my #SOURCES. I can't remember if they plan to auction them off but I think they will. Look to see them 2-3 more times.
Furman is playing Purdue too?
"But imagine the negative connotation those helmets will forever have if we wore them and lost to UVA. "
Really, get some sort of mountain witch (we are close to WVA), a backhoe, bulldozer and a gas tanker. Dig a deep hole (backhoe), throw all the helmets in the hole (SR), empty all the gas into the hole (tanker), light them up (Bud) while the witch chants a spell to ward off all future helmet incarnations.
I'm pretty sure I remember reading that in an interview with Whit
No there is not. I think you are right about them possibly being added to the rotation.

Get off my lawn! In my day we would never do anything so juvenile! Declension!!!!
There will always be things that college KIDS yes I stand by KIDS (final stand before the "real world") will do to piss people off.
Revoking someones rights to attend a game would be counterproductive to those of you who complain about student attendance levels when you aren't complaining about paper airplanes.
