America will get to meet him on Sunday. Beat the cheats.

I realize this could be done, but the way you put it it's something you'd have to do every time it happens, and is probably more work than just clicking the pause button.

I also realize that I could create a script to use with Tampermonkey and just repeatedly add items to that, but that's in effect what AdBlock is supposed to do, and I'd like to not resort to that if I can get away with it.

Tyrod Taylor said that he never got a diamond-studded mouthpiece despite a TMZ report saying he had purchased one to celebrate being named the Bills' starting quarterback

A diamond-studded mouthpiece is the most non-tyrod thing I've ever heard of...

Edit: I continued reading... thank godness they corrected TMZ:

Taylor doesn't appear to be the diamond mouthpiece type -- he and his family were reportedly offended that anyone would suggest that he was

Give the man credit where credit's due, if this were the Tech goalie he'd be a new cult hero.

Bravo, Mr. Anderson.

Adblock searches the page source downloaded from the site and prevents the browser from even making the connection to the ad server to retrieve the content, so Google has no idea that the page you're on was supposed to download an ad in the first place, therefore eliminating ad revenue for any hits that you otherwise would have provided.

I have used AdBlock in the past, whitelisting certain sites, but most of the places I go anymore are whitelisted anyway so I haven't bothered this time around with an OS installation.

And damn, just while typing this response I was pulled down the page by an Iams dog food ad. This is really frustrating.

He is the man. Met him at Dulles Airport about a month ago with his buddy Martin. He had slimmed down a ton. I barely recognized him. Told me he was on the "tequila only diet."

The implication there would be that someone from ahead of our time used a time machine to go back in time to now, where his talents (read: humongous size) aren't fully appreciated. I think the stronger possibility is that some sort of time vortex swallowed him up, transporting him from the age of 420 pound wide receivers into a time where his only option is to be a reserve lineman in Indiana. Check him for time vortex residue I say.

Surprisingly to the uninitiated, there are actually way more geeks in fencing than fraternity types (unless you're Cornell).

I've said it before, and it's a super hacky fix, but...If you're at all familiar with html, you can right-click/inspect element and delete the surrounding div tag. Poof, no more ad.

How does HSC not field a team in this? Isn't their student body perfect for it?

I love that ending. Sam Rodgers is better than Jefferson.

Edit. May Sam Rogers have mercy on my soul.

Didn't realize that AdBlock had an impact on ad revenue. I assumed that the ads didn't know whether a user was blocking them or not. If that is in fact the case, then I'll gladly remove AdBlock for this site and deal with the ads.
